MASON'S POV
Its been a day since my mate and her new sister went up stairs. When we checked on them they both were in a deep sleep, like a coma. They'll wake up eventually but until then I have to train this thing called a pack.
They were horrible fighter, it was absolutely sad trying to watch them fight earlier today.
FLASHBACK
"Training starts in 10 minutes, if everyone isn't on the field by then an hour is added on," I say into a blow horn at 6:30 AM. About 10 minutes later nearly half of their pack didn't show.
"Everyone here start running around the territory. I guess I'll go get everyone else up," I yell.
Walking into their packhouse I go room to room, every room with people still in bed gets pulled out of bed and onto the floor. Everyone just sitting around gets yelled at too.
"Do you think you're too good for training or something, cuz I'm here now to tell you that your not. Get your asses outside and start running laps like everyone else,if not I'll leave right now. My pack members and I don't have to be here training you, we can leave you here to fend for yourselves and die!"
About 3 minutes later every member was running; the pack had gotten another 5 hours of training because of the ones that were in the house still and they didn't even know it until I decided to tell them. The pack members were hating each other at that moment.
The pack did 7 laps around their territory and looked as though they were about to fall out from exhaustion. They didn't even know that running is just a warm-up.
"Now pair up, man to woman, boy girl," I tell them, "And no mate pairing. If you pair up with your mate you'll never be able to do anything that might hurt each other, and that would defeat the the purpose of training."
"Why are we fighting like human, we're wolves, that's how we should fight," so guy says and a couple murmur their agreements.
"Sometimes in battle you may not have enough time to shift," I say, "Or what if your injected with wolfbane, you can't shift. During battle we may not always have access to our wolves so we need to be able to rely on our strengths and fighting skills as a human also."
"Now begin," I shout.
Everything I see is pathetic. The children in my pack are better at fighting than this pack. No wonder they need our help, it's a wonder that they've survived this long.
FLASHBACK OVER
CLARE'S POV
It's taken Cam forever to learn how to teleport. I've been waiting almost an hour for her to learn so we could go to the house and I could get a nice fresh O- blood bag.
"Good job Cameron, now let's head back home before your you or your sister decides to drink us dry from hunger," mom says.
"What do you mean 'drink us dry from hunger'," Cam asks.
Honestly I wonder how my sister is so oblivious. Mom told her she was part vamp, so it would make sense that we're so hungry we'll drink them dry.
"Do you feel the itch in your throat that just won't go away," I ask rhetorically, "Well that's your hunger, your thirst, for blood, only human blood."
"Okay so I drink human blood now," Cam says, "Got it."
Once we reach the house Cam follows me to the deep freezer that stores mom and dad's supply of blood bags, bags kept for us only.
"Here grab a bag," I tell Cam while getting an O-, "You can smell a couple to decide which you might like the most."
As soon as I say that she picks up different types of bags, she chooses an O-also.
"O-is the best," I say, "At least that's what I think."
After heading back upstairs mom puts a plate of Cajun Chicken Pasta in front of us.
"After you eat I'm sending you both home," mom says, "But as always, I'll see you again. I love you both, my daughters."
The minute Cam and I are done eating, we wake up in our human body's. Like always I look under the bed to find at least a dozen blood bags.
"I love them," I tell Cam, then asks, "Don't you?"
"Yeah their great," Cam says in a weird voice. Like if she was sad or something like that.
"Hey what's wrong," I asked her.
"I can feel the emotions that they have for both of us. Our parents love us both, but mom and dad adore you, it's like in their minds your perfect."
"It sounds like you have the power of Empathy, you can feel the emotions of the people around you," I tell her, "Also don't worry about if they do or don't adore me, focus on the fact that they love you. Mom and daddy just met you and they love you already."
"Ok, let's talk about something else"
"Okay, then let's talk about how you hate my life style and my friends," I say.
