CLARE'S POV
Its been 4 months since my pack finished its training. My packs training is amazing. I've taught them almost every battle skill I knew.
Today was the last day of the packs training. Tomorrow is the day we help train the other packs.
A voice knocked me out of my thoughts.
"Luna Clare," a teenage boy, Jonah, called.
I had gotten to know him well, he was talented with cross-bows and bow-and-arrows. Jonah was 17 and strong, I'd decided awhile back that I would be taking him with me when I went to train other packs.
"Yes Warrior Jonah," I asked him, "Actually let's speak inside."
We were also really good friends. We both hated using our pack titles to speak to each other.
Finally we were alone and could act normal.
"So Clary, I heard trainings done," Jonah said smiling.
"Yeah but I can still help you with your hand-to-hand combat," I said smirking at him.
He instantly glared at me. I'd struck a nerve. While Jonah was great at the bows, he wasn't so great at hand-to-hand combat.
"Don't even bring up hand-to-hand combat around me, Clary;" Jonah groaned, "I absolutely hate it."
I laughed at his dramatic performance. He becomes a real drama queen when anyone brings up combat.
"It's important to know Jo," I told him, "I don't want you to be one of the body's in my next premonition."
I didn't realize I had tears in my eyes until he spoke again. Our sweet laughing conversation turned to a solemn one.
"Don't cry," Jo said, "Look I don't plan to be a dead body, you'll train me hand-to-hand combat. I know that with your help I'll get it. I'm gonna be a pro after we're done training, just watch and see."
"Ok," I said, "We have to go back out now."
"Yeah I know," Jo said.
We walked out of the packhouse and on to the training ground. We looked at each other and smiled, time to get back to training.
"Have a good afternoon, Luna Clare," Jonah said.
"You too, Warrior Jonah"
I turned and walked away. I didn't get very far walking when I was stopped by a pair of hands surrounding my waist and a very gorgeous boy walk in front of me.
"Hello little mate," Mason said from behind me.
"Beauty, my mate, hi," Jake said from in front of me.
MASON'S POV
Jake and I watched as Clare walked out of the packhouse with Warrior Jonah, the two of them were really close. Jonah and Clare has a connection that I can't understand, not a mating connection. Jonah wasn't secretly in love with Clare and she wasn't with him either.
The connection that the two of them had was beyond a best friend connection; it was like a blood connection. As if Clare and Jonah were related to each other by blood
I was pulled out of my thoughts by my own best friend.
"Eh dude, let's go steal our mate for some alone time," Jakeb said already walking forward.
Jake knew when it came to our mate I was in for any and all suggestions. I walked with him over to her. As her back was towards us Clare didn't know who had their arms locked around her waist.
I felt the shocks, the only type of shocks you can get from your true mate. Jakeb walked in front of her giving away that it was me holding her.
"Hello little mate," I said to Clare from behind.
"Beauty, my mate, hi," Jake said from in front of her.
I just rolled my eyes.
'Dude did you seriously just say it like that?' I asked Jakeb through a private mind-link.
'Yeah, where did I mess up at?' Jake answered back with a question of his own.
'You should've said "hello" instead of just"hi" idiot' I said to Jake.
'Leave Jakeb's greeting alone, I think it was cute and sweet' Clare said through mine and Jake's mind-link.
Clare had did that weird power of hers, she looked into our minds.
"Ok," I said with my hands up in a surrendering pose.
"Good, wanna ditch rest of the training," Clare asked us with a smirk on her face.
"We were coming over here to kidnap you or convince you into skipping," Jake told Clare with a smirk of his own.
I'm really hoping she has the same idea that I have in my mind of what we should do while skipping.
"Let's go," I said to them both with a full on smile.
Before we even start walking though, Clare's eyes rolled into the back of her head. Clare started falling to the ground but Jakeb was quick to catch her.
"CALL GUMMY NOW," I yelled at my pack.
Not even 30 seconds later Gummy was next to us with a stretcher to put Clare on.
JAKEB'S POV
All I saw was Clare falling and I had to catch her. I leaned her head against my chest and just felt the comfort of knowing that I had my mate in my arms. She was as safe as I can make her be.
"CALL GUMMY NOW," I heard Mason yell and soon saw her with a stretcher and a sympathetic smile.
"Let's take her to your apartment, I can do a check up there," Gummy said, "But it's probably what happened the first time."
"Ok," I said and looked at Mason, "Oh, you want me to carry her up on the stretcher? Well no, I catched her you can carry her," I said to Mason.
"You are lucky you're my best friend and her other mate or else I would have kicked your ass then thrown you in a cell," Mase said smirking at me with an evil look in his eyes.
"Aww but you love me too much," I said smiling at him being truly sarcastic.
"Are you boy's done with your love quarrel," Gummy asked after we had stopped talking, "I would like to check up on my luna if you boy's are finally done and will take her up."
'Well someone didn't get her orgasm of the day' Mase said to me in a mind-link.
'Dude shut up, focus on Clare' I said right back to him.
Mason started to move the stretcher legs and wheeled it into the packhouse. Now here was the fun part for Mase, going up 4flights of stairs carrying Clare.
~ 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS LATER ~
"Here let me unlock," I said to Mason, picking at him, teasing him.
"Oh, yeah you go ahead, it won't be any trouble at all," Mase said Sarcastically.
We walked into our apartment and to our huge bedroom. Mason gently picked Clare up from off the stretcher and laid her down onto the bed. Then it was Gummy's turn to take the lead.
