Dear Diary,
With every war comes casualties and loss. Loss of a friend or family member; in my case, it was a mate.
Doctors say writing this down is going to help so here I am now.
It's been 2 months since we fought and won the war, but it cost me Jakeb. We searched and searched but there was no body. Some believe he was killed to where his body is unrecognizable or that there is no body to find. Mason believes the second one. I hope he may be out there somewhere, wondering and finding his way back home.
I have to hope, because if I don't then I will have to accept the fact that he's gone and I can't do that. Not yet, I can't give up on him.
Cam's gone too, not dead but gone. She couldn't handle this world and honestly, I'm not sure I can either anymore.
