Dan's POV

"Phil, I'm home!" I announced as I threw my things on the table and flopped down onto the sofa. I heard a crinkle underneath me and I shifted to find a small paper under my butt, reading:

Find me!

I sighed at Phil's little game. I was tired, and I wanted to relax. Today was stressful believe it or not, I was required to play multiple, very difficult songs, I barely knew for some fancy dinner with at least fifty elegantly dressed people, who had their long noses pointed up in the air. Thankfully Louise have me a pretty decent bonus for my troubles.

"Phil?" I called as I got up from the sofa and made my way down the hall. I opened his door and looked around in the closet. Nothing other then colorful clothes.

"Philly, where are you?" I had already made my way through the bathroom, office, kitchen, and his room, the only place left was my room.

"Philip Lester, are you in here."

I stepped into the room and almost immediately I felt two familiar hands come up behind me and cover my eyes.

"Right here, baby..."

My eyes snapped open and I shot up from my sleeping position as those last three words still bounced around in my head. I've been having dreams recently and each one had me and Phil in some type of relationship, don't get me wrong, I wasn't complaining at all... They were rather enjoyable. I noticed my surroundings and realized I was in the lounge, I must have fallen asleep while watching TV, but I didn't remember getting a blanket.

"I made you some coffee." I heard Phil's familiar voice say.

I turned around and saw the definition of cute and hot, leaning on the door frame. Phil was currently dressed in a large T-shirt and blue Cookie Monster pants which made him look cute, but his messy bed riddled hair and black framed glasses, and coffee in his right hand made him look like he just woke up from a night after. I couldn't help but stare at him and think to myself... I would be seeing this every morning.... As long as I got up on time.

"We should go out today." Phil suddenly mentioned as he sat down at my feet.

"Why?"

"Because, we need to get out of the house, I want to do something."

"Well I don't, I'm good right here."  I smiled as I closed my eyes, leaned back in the cushion, and pulled the blanket back up to my chest.

"Dannnnn..." Phil said in a warning voice.

"Philllllll..." I mocked back.

"Please." Phil whined. "For me..."

I opened one eye and saw that Phil was now standing over me, giving me irresistible puppy dog eyes.

"Fine...But just this once."

We had arrived at the mall at around 3ish. We had already been to all different types of shops in the area, why did we have to come here? I just sighed, in the time I've known Phil I've learned he tends to have random impulses, one moment he'll be peacefully watching Buffy reruns, and playing Crash Bandicoot... Then suddenly he'll want to go find some exotic drink you can only find a hour from where we are.

"What do you want for Christmas?" Phil asked as we walked through a random clothing store.

I then remembered christmas was right around the corner. I thought for moment and then shrugged. "I don't know, I haven't really thought of Christmas for years."

"Well thats going to have to change."

Phil grabbed my wrist and dragged me through aisle after aisle, while picking up and pointing at different trinkets and clothes in the process.

"How about this?" Phil asked as he picket up a green shirt.

I shook my head.

"This?"

"Phil it's November." I sighed.

"I'm just trying to get an idea."

After two hours or approving and disapproving different objects Phil picked out, we finally left the store and entered a large park. The cold wind blew gently and ruffled my hair as me and Phil walked side by side on a path near a pond. I shivered as I pulled the thick jacket tighter around my figure and glanced over at Phil. His features looked so defined and his profile was beautiful in the late afternoon sun, his icy blue eyes were transfixed on the path ahead but apparently Phil felt my stare because he too turned and caught me staring.

He started to laugh and I did too, these things made us laugh. Even if they were awkward at times.

After our good laugh we sat down on a bench and looked out over the water. Everything was silent and the only thing we could hear was the rustle of leaves as the wind blew through them. I savored the moment, the only thing I wished was for my hand to be intertwined with Phil's.

"Look you can see the London Eye from here." Phil said as he pointed out above a few buildings.

I followed his eyes and sure enough saw half of the giant medal wheel slowing turning in the distance.

"You know, I've always wanted to ride the London Eye." I mentioned.

"How long does it take to ride it?"

I thought for a moment, "I think maybe 30 minutes... Why?"

"No reason..."

I shrugged and Phil stood up. "We should probably be heading back home." He suggested.

"Good, because I'm getting cold." The ride home was uneventful and quite, but I enjoyed it, it wasn't an uncomfortable silence, but instead one that you can sit in for hours and just understand what each other are feeling through glances and small words.

Once we got home I headed to my room and laid down on the soft duvet. I was so tired, I wasn't used to walking all over the city and hiking paths through the park. I felt my stomach growl and I smiled when I smelled the lingering scent of cooking garlic and chopped onion down the hall.

"Dinner should be done in 30 minutes!" Phil yelled from the kitchen.

I replied, and I felt warmth gather in my cheeks. Phil was such a big part of my life, he's taken care of me, he's helped me get back up on my feet, and he's made me a  happy person... I was so grateful for Phil.... I just wish he knew how much he meant to me.
