Dan's POV

I woke up that morning to the feeling of someone gently poking my cheek, I groaned and swatted the hand away.

"Daaan..." I heard a familiar and cheerful voice coo.

I grumbled in response.

"Dan you need to get up." Phil said as he shook my shoulder.

"Never, let me sleep forever..." I moaned as I rolled over.

"Daniel listen to Phil!" I heard Sarah comment. "Your leaving today."

I opened my eyes and sat up to see Phil standing at the foot of my bed.

"How are you feeling?" Phil asked.

"Eh..."

"Well that's better then bad."

I nodded and secretly looked Phil up and down while he was rummaging through Sarah's bags. He looked more handsome today then cute. His black hair looked like he'd just ran his hand through it and made it have a messy look to it, the flannel he was wearing fit his boy perfectly and the jeans complimented everything... Not to mention it made his ass look nice. I felt a prod and I looked up to see Sarah elbowing me. Her eyes narrowed as if she was silently saying, MANNERS! I sighed and bit my lip as I took one last glance at Phil and stood up.

I got dressed, gathered my things and double checked with Ritta, I had grown to like that girl she was kind and she was constantly checking on me, made me feel nice... Then again her job is to take care of me.

"So where are you going after this?" Phil asked as we made our way down to the lobby.

I shrugged, "probably back to my flat or try and find another job."

"Wrong." Phil stated.

"What?"

"I said wrong... I don't want you to go back to your flat and mope around, you need to have a solid plan, even if it's simple."

I looked at Phil in confusion.

"Let's start off easy... Do you need to run any errands?"

"A few..."

"Well then let's start there, where are we going?"

"We?"

Phil nodded," yes we, I'm here for Dan even through simple things."

I lightly blushed at what Phil had said. He had told me he was going to help me but I never expected this.

"So where to Danny?"

I decided it was hopeless to change Phil's mind. "I need to drop my things off." I mentioned. My cast was annoyingly bulky and heavy, it often got in the way, and carrying around a large bag filled with clothes was not going to help. But I also didn't want to show Phil where I lived, I was embarrassed of the flat's existence, bringing someone there...kill me now. We hailed a cab and I reluctantly got into the thing and told the cabby my address.

"So what errands do you have?" Phil asked after a few moments of silence.

I sighed, "I have to drop off my things, cash the check my mother left, pay the rent, and find a new job."

"So it looks like we have our work cut out for us?" Phil chuckled.

I appreciated Phil's company and Sarah was correct, I did fancy Phil... how couldn't I.

"We're here." The cabby grumbled. I went to hand him my money but Phil pushed my hand away and paid him. "Save your money." Phil commented as we scooted our way out of the cab.
