"Mooooooooornnnnnniiiiinnnng, Ooooommmmeeeen!"

I managed to squint open my eyes to see Pierce standing over me. He smiled and flung back my sheets. I flinched when the cold air of my room met my bare legs and arms. Luckily I was wearing just shorts and a loose crop top instead of underwear.

"Get out!" I mumbled before pulling the covers back over me. They were torn from my grasp once again. I flipped him off and got out of bed. I ushered him out of my room, then got changed. My new walk-in closet had been filled with all of my clothes and stuff. I put on some ripped up, blue jeans, a black top that was cropped at the front, but dropped down in the back and hugged my forearms tightly, and finally, my black converse. Then I put on some black eyeliner and mascara. I walked outside my room to see Pierce leaning against the wall near the door.

"Ready?" he asked me.

"For what?" I said following him down the hall. We went down the stairs and back into the hall with Mr. Grim's room. Pierce knocked on the door and entered shortly after.

"Ah!" Mr. Grim said when we walked in. "Did you have a nice sleep, Omen?" I nodded. "Well, here is her schedule." He handed Pierce a piece of paper and gave a slight nod goodbye, perching some glasses on his nose and shuffling through papers on his desk. Pierce led me out of the room, stopping in the hall to read the paper.

"OK," he started. "First you have breakfast, then History-"

"Oh, great!" I interrupted. "I get to start off my day with a nap!" After recieving his glare, I motioned for him to continue.

"Then it's Training and Free Time. It switches every other day between the two. Then you have Art, lunch, Swimming, Math, then you finish the day with Music class and dinner. Lights out at ten." He looked at me with his eyebrows raised. I took that as my chance to express how I felt about the schedule.

"There's no way in hell I am taking Math again." I hissed.

He sighed and handed me the paper, which I stuck in my back pocket. We started walking to the intersection at the end of the hall.  We kept walking to the wing across the Mr. Grim's room. On the doors in the hall were the words Math, Art, et cetera. We walked into the one that said History. There was a couple of boys sitting at the desks, and a man in the front of the room. He had a bald head and a scruffy beard. He smiled at me and told me to sit anywhere. Pierce muttered some things to the teacher and took a seat next to me in the back.

"None of the guys are in this class with you." he whispered to me so not everyone in the silent room was listening. "So I got my schedule changed so I'm here with you."

"Does that mean you're with me in all of my classes?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow.

He shook his head. "Just History and Music. The rest of the guys are in the other classes with you." A bell rang and moments later boys were filing into the room. All of them stared at me for a while, smiling or gawking. The late bell rang and the man at the front began class.

"Good morning everyone!" he said. Everyone except me mumbled deep 'mornings'. "I am Mr. Stewart. Young lady, what is your name?" Everyone once again turned to me. I bit down my growing anger enough to answer.

"Omen."

"Well, since she is the Chosen Girl, today's lesson is about Omen's Legend." I felt a headache begin at my left temple. I dosed off when Mr. Stewart got to the part about my destiny.

I felt somone shake my shoulder roughly.

"Wha?" I groggily turned to Pierce to see everyone leaving.
