The first person to break the silence was Dominic.

"Shit." he said. He glanced out a window. "They're surrounding the house."

"We can't stay here." Pierce said. He was looking at the ground, hands on his hips, tapping his foot in an impatient matter. Everyone looked at him, but it seemed only I had a confused expression. Alden shook his head at him. Pierce noticed. "Roger and his pack won't leave us alone if we stay here! We need to take her to the Academy. The Elders will be there and will know how to help us."

Alden hesitantly nodded. "Fine. Elliot, Simon, you two flank behind Omen. Pierce and Dominic, protect her front and lead her to the truck." I didn't know why he was ordering around the other guys, but they all nodded. He opened the door and walked outside to face Roger. I followed behind Pierce and Dominic, like he said.

"Oh," Roger said when we were all outside. "How nice of you to hand-deliver her to us, Alden." He smiled evily and stepped forward. Pierce immediately snarled at him. "Easy there, tiger." Roger teased. "We just want the girl. There's no need for a fight."

"Well, you aren't getting her." Pierce barked. "Not while she's under the protection of our pack."

Roger raised an eyebrow. "Fight it is then." He snapped his fingers, and the two boys behind him ran forward. Alden met them halfway and punched one in the face, then kicked the other in his jewels.

"Pierce! Go!" he shouted. I was then lead by Pierce to the truck. He stuffed me in the middle seat.

"Stay here, lock the doors." He then slammed the door and joined the rest of the guys fighting. I locked the doors and watched, horrified, as they fought. Simon got a fist to his gut. Dominic was getting multiple punches to the face. But overall they were doing pretty good. Pierce was beating the crap out of Roger. Alden and Elliot was taking on about five guys at once.

And there I was, sitting in a truck, safe and sound.

I hated it.

I wanted to help. I wanted to help the guys even though I was terrified of wolves. I didn't like that they were risking their lives for me. Just as I was about to jump out, the five guys I was about to go help ran up to the truck.

"You can unlock the doors, now." Alden told me through the window. I reached over and unlocked the doors. Alden slid into the driver's seat, Pierce in the passenger's seat, and Elliot, Dominic, and Simon in the bed of the old pickup truck. Alden revved the engine and sped out of the woods.

"Where are we going?" I squeaked. They didn't answer.

Elliot stuck his head in the window behind me. "They aren't following us." Alden nodded.

"Where the hell are we going?" I asked again a little louder.

Pierce sighed. "We're taking you to Lycanthrope Academy. You'll be safe there."

"Academy?" I said. "I'm not going back to school!"

"It's not like your old high school." He patted my hand reasurringly. "Don't worry. You'll be fine." We were silent the rest of the ride. We entered the forest again. It was a little longer til we pulled up at a large gate. There was LA written on them in large cursive letters. A paw print was underneath them, my guess was it was a lock for the gate. Dominic hopped out of the bed of the truck and talked into the intercom on the gate. He got back in the truck as the gate doors opened. Alden drove forward.

Up ahead was a large brick building. A big, grand, wooden door was in the middle of the building. A track was a little farther away along with a dome-like, glass building. Inside the dome was a large pool. Tons of well-fit boys were walking around outside, talking and doing boy stuff. I seemed as if the closer we got to the building, the more of them noticed us. Some were wide-eyed, gawking, others were glaring, and some were smiling happily. Alden pulled the truck to a stop in front of the doors. He sent a quick glare at a couple guys walking our way, and they backed off. Him, Pierce and Elliot led me inside while Dominic and Simon went off and greeted their old friends.
