"You'll be fine," Maddy spoke as we were heading into to the locker room to change for team activities. "Working with him will not be as bad as it may seem right now. Believe it or not, Damon actually has a brain behind that ego of his."

"No, I'm going to die." I said taking my shirt off to put on my athletics shirt required for the class, "I'm not going to make it out of this stupid project alive."

"You are not going to die. Quit exaggerating!"

"Alright look, I'm going to die from one of the two ways I am about to list. One being he will annoy me to death or two he is going to make me fall in love with him," I gasped putting my hand to my mouth instantly trying to stop the words from leaving my lips, "I so did not just say that."

"Oh you definitely just did, Kamryn McGee!!" Maddy said loudly and I shushed her to keep her voice down. The locker room was like a boom box for voices, anyone could here anything in here.

"What is happening to me??" I asked glancing in the mirror before we walked out of the locker room into the gym.

"It was his eyes wasn't it?" She was smirking at me now onto my sudden expressed interest in him.

"Don't make me say it." I covered up my face.

"I'm going to make you say it. Now, it was the eyes, just admit it." She crossed her arms over her chest waiting impatiently for me to answer her.

I sighed. There really was no way around the fact that it definitely indeed didn't help that Damon's eyes were amazing. A vortex I got stuck in every single time I looked into them.

"Still waiting." She was tapping her foot on the floor.

"Oh please would you cut that out." I tried to shove past her, but she stepped in my way again.

"Kamryn."

"What?"

"You like him."

"I think fairly interested is a better way to put it," I grumbled.

"Alright now how hard was that? So what is going on here is you despise his cocky attitude towards girls right?" she asked shifting her weight to her other foot.

"Right." I nodded in agreement.

"You think his eyes are so blue that they make you melt into a large puddle at the bottom of his feet, right?"

"Right."

"You think he is a good kisser right?" She smirked at me.

"Right, wait hey I did not mean to answer that one right away!" I laughed and nudged her shoulder as she let me pass her to reach the door to the locker room and we headed towards the gym.

"Well, it sounds like you have a little bit of an issue on your hands." She clapped her hands together like a psychiatrist would do when they tell you they can't really help you, but they are going to try their best.

"Again, thank you captain obvious, I know this is an issue." It was a large one at that.

"I mean it is not like he is off limits or anything," She stated pushing the gymnasium doors open, "He is a single man."

"But really he is though! I can't be with him, that's a heart break waiting to happen."

"I am going to agree with you there girl."

"Shit," I said slapping my hands to my face, "My life is messed up."

"We will figure it out," Maddy said reassuring me as we walked up to the circle formed around Coach Simpson.
