*Clank* *Clank* *Clank*

That was the only thing I could hear. My footsteps echoing down this hallway as it leads down endlessly into darkness. As I walked down it, I began thinking....why was I here? and why am I walking? My body seemed to be reacting to something and like the bonehead I am, I continue to follow it while my instincts screamed at me to stop.

I heard Shuffling behind me, I turned around quickly, my Left eye blazing in it's blue light as I feel a shiver go down my spine...nothing, there was nothing there...

I chuckled to myself as I began to relax, letting my powers die down, I turn back around only to nearly bump into a shadowy mass. The shadows seem to move in unpredictable patterns, as if it was barely able to keep itself together. Near the top, two red eyes were glaring at me while it grins down at me, and before I could react, it leans down and bites my skull in half with it's bloody red teeth.

--

I gasp awake, jolting up as I pant hard, my body covered in sweat. I took in the familiar surroundings of my room before sighing softly, rubbing my face with one of my hands

It was just another one of those damn nightmares.....

As I plop back down onto my bed, I stare at the clock on my nightstand, 5:32am. I let out another sigh as I could feel the achyness of exhaustion in my bones, the same dream has been haunting me in my sleep for the past few days and I have no idea what it meant.

I stare up at my ceiling for a few minutes before huffing, my body had been filled with too much adrenaline from my nightmare that it refused to go back to sleep, might as well get up, Papyrus will be getting up soon anyway. I get off of my bed and I snap my fingers, a black t-shirt with Grillby's logo and a pair of blue jeans fly out of my closet and I begin to put them on, changing out of the t-shirt and sorts I use for sleep wear, throwing them on the bed and then heads downstairs, another snap of my fingers, the lights turn off and the door closes and locks behind me as I head down the stares to the living room.

I walk outside and I teleport myself onto the top of my house, staring at the rising sun. It has been 6 years since Frisk fell down into the Underground and broke the barrier. Monsters Had been transitioning from their underground cage to the freedom of the overworld, building a Small village at the base of Mt. Ebbot. We've interacted with humans, and with Frisk's help as the Monster Ambassador, we were soon Introduced to a human society, while bumpy at first, soon come to an understanding with us and allowed us into their society. A few monsters decided to leave the small monster village and go on into the neighboring human cities and towns, this included my brother and I. Frisk was living with Toriel and Asgore, who got re-married, are the king and queen of the monsters who do their best to keep the peace between us and the humans. Undyne and Alphys moved in together and continued to become closer each day, Alphys still being the royal scientist, began to learn from many other human scientists who were interested in studying monsters as Alphys was to study them, she even became the head of the science department at a local University. Undyne continue to work as a royal guard for the King and Queen, even began training some new recruits so she wouldn't be the only monster who can hold their own. Mettaton went on with his(her?) cousin Blooky to become a star in the human world and at a surprisingly quick rate, they were stars in a matter of a month on the surface. Muffet had open up her bakery in the human city and actually began to charge reasonable prices for her sweets and tea. Papyrus was second in comand of the Royal Guard, right under Undyne and continued being his Great self. As for me, I work with Alphys in the Lab, helping her with experiments and classes, becoming sort of a professor myself.

However, things aren't always good...

There have been incidents where Humans have shown their distrust for the monsters, giving us the evil glare, causing accidents and nearly killing us at points. It was obvious not everyone was as accepting to letting us come in and change their world. It doesn't bother me as much, but if they dare hurt Papyrus, Frisk or anyone else that I care about....

They will have a Bad Time...

I stretch out my bones before heading back inside, only to have the smell of pasta sauce in the air, making me sweat again. I was late for making breakfast....Spaghetti Town, here I come...

"SANS!!!" I heard Papyrus call out to me, I put on my familiar grin as I walk into the kitchen. "WHERE WERE YOU? I WENT TO WAKE YOU UP AND I DIDN'T SEE YOU!" Said the tall skeleton, Papyrus hadn't change much in style, still sporting his battle body as he dubs, while changing into more professional clothing when needed.

"Sorry Bro, I woke up early to watch the sunrise. you can say it 'brighten' my day up with it's sunshine" I told him with a chuckle.

"MY GOD SANS!!! NOT EVEN 8 IN THE MORNING AND YOU ARE ALREADY RUINING MY DAY WITH YOUR PUNS!" Papyrus said while bringing his hand and slapping it across his skull

"Sorry bro, but you I am punny and I need to be as 'Humerous' as I can. Or else you might think I was an 'Impasta'." I said, firing pun after pun, making Papyrus slam his head against the counter. Making me laugh a bit more, I needed this light hearted banter after all the nightmares I was having. but before I could fire off another pun, I hear the doorbell ring and I walk up to it, letting Papyrus cook as I open the door, revealing another person who has been feeling my mind up lately, someone I had grown to admire in the time I have known them, and watched them grown from the 12 year old kid to the 18 year old adult who know stood in front of me. Someone who I became infatuated with but too scared to tell.

"Heh, hey there Kiddo, what brings you to my home this morning?"
