The skatepark

Grayson' P.O.V
I was sat in my bedroom listening to music on my phone whilst checking all my social medias Snapchat, nothing. Instagram, nothing. Twitter, nothing. Everything was dead. I was laying back on my bed singing along to the music until Ethan barged into my room, I turned my music off and sat up as quick as lighting "dude what are you doing!" I complained loudly "I have great news!" Ethan cried grinning, I looked at him blankly "I don't really care, tell Ella or something" I told him, Ethan ignored my comment "I invited Elizabeth to the skate park with us" Ethan told me, I stood up off my bed and walked over to Ethan "dude no way!" I cried, I wanted to get to know her. "Oh and she invited her friend Casey if that's okay" Ethan added, I nodded not really caring, I would still see Elizabeth "oh and call her Beth, she prefers that" Ethan called out walking out of my room. "Beth" I mumbled to myself, I now couldn't wait to go to the skatepark.

Beth's P.O.V
I arrived home and called out to my my mum to let her know I was home, there was no reply but I heard footsteps run down the stairs, I placed my bag down and grabbed my phone, I poked my head around the doorframe to see that it was Brooke. "Hey B where's mum?" I asked her, Brooke looked at me confused but then told me that mum had gone out food shopping, I nodded and started to walk up to my room. Before I walked into my room, I pushed my brothers door open, he hasn't been talking much so I thought I'd check up on him, I saw him sat on his bed, he looked like he was about to cry, I walked over and sat next to him on his bed "hey J are you okay?" I asked concerned, he nodded, I then asked again and again until he would tell me the answer "okay the truth is, I hate it here!" He sighed, I wasn't surprised to be honest, "why J? I know it's different to England but it's not that bad" I said comforting him "I miss my friends" he mumbled, rubbing his eyes, I wrapped my arm around him and gave him a side hug, "well you can message them" I suggested "no I can't!" He sighed, "because of the different time zones if I message them during the day for us, it's night time for them, if they message me during the day for them, it's night time for us! It's never a convenient time" he explained. I felt so bad for him, "I don't know what to say J I'm sorry, just do what I did and try to make friends" I said, I stood up to leave him alone and walked out his room, closing the door behind me.

A couple of hours had passed and my mum was finally home and I had changed into a much cuter outfit. I still wore my black, ripped skinny jeans but I put on a plain black t-shirt and a pink bomber jacket along with my black converse, I ran down the stairs with my phone in my pocket and my penny board in hand and left the house to meet Casey at the school gates, we met and penny boarded about 10 minutes away to a skatepark with huge ramps and skate pipes and just everything a skate park should have. We were looking around for familiar faces until I saw Ella and Ethan laughing together, Ella was clutching a hold of his arm whilst Ethan was sat tickling her, in which they were both uncontrollably laughing, anyone would think they were dating, Casey and I skated over to them and said hey, I Introduced Casey and then asked where Grayson was "he's on the farthest ramp over there" Ethan said, I nodded and went over to him, Casey chose to stay and chat with Ethan and Ella.
I grabbed my penny board and went to the top of the ramp, skating along it doing many tricks, I didn't like to show off but if I did it would be whilst penny boarding. I got slightly tired after a while so I decided to take a break, I sat at the top of the ramp, clinging onto my penny board, Grayson did one last jumping trick on the opposite end of the ramp and then skated up to me, sitting next to me. "Hey Beth" he said rubbing the back of his neck, I blushed when I heard him say my name, I looked away slightly, but then quickly looked back "hey Gray" I said "wait can I call you Gray? I know Ethan does" I said rushing "yeah it's fine, I like it when you call me Gray" he said smiling, we started talking for ages and we have a lot in common. "Beth, Gray come over here!" I heard someone shout, it was Ella, Grayson and I grabbed our penny boards and skated down off the ramp and strolled over to Ethan, Ella and Casey. "We're ready to go, would you like to come back to ours for pizza or something?" Ethan asked Casey and I "sorry I can't, I have homework to do" Casey said rolling her eyes "neither can I, I should really have dinner with my parents today, maybe another day though?" I said smiling "okay, no worries" Ethan said "looks like it's just me Ella and Gray then" he said smiling, we all started skating back to our houses, I was talking to both boys until Ella soon stepped in, slowing us both down "hey Ella!" I said grinning widely, "hey" she said "look I know we're friends and believe it or not I do trust you but I'm Eth's And Gray's best friend and I have been since kindergarten and I think Grayson likes you" she was about to carry on but I interrupted "Grayson likes me?" I asked shocked, I smiled to myself "well I assume so, your all he talks about, it's quite annoying really" she said, I nervously laughed "so I trust you not to hurt either of them, but I will always be by there side, I am very protective over them, they're practically my brothers, so just don't hurt them or I'll hurt you" Ella said sternly to me, I nodded feeling very awkward but it was soon over as we all arrived at our houses, funnily enough Grayson and Ethan live 5 houses down from mine, although Ella and Casey live in a different neighbourhood.

So 5 chapters already. Wow. I hope your enjoying ready this book as much as I'm enjoying writing it! So Grayson possibly likes Beth, we can see where that leads to! And we've seen the nice side of Ella, but now we've witnessed her overprotective quite scary side. I hope your excited for more chapters and I can't wait to write more! Xx
