A Chance At Love

Girls night in

I was walking home with the whole squad, Ethan, Grayson, Casey, Ella and Alex. "Do you guys want to come back to my house, I'm sure my parents won't mind, my dad will just be marking books and my mum will be working on her novel" I asked the group. "For once, I'm afraid we can't" Ethan said sounding disappointed. I nodded "what about you two girls?" I asked Casey and Ella, they said they were able too, I then asked Alex "and you?" He shook his head "sorry I can't, maybe another time" he said grinning widely. He just loves smiling doesn't he. I loved being with the boys but it is nice to have a girls night in for once. We all hugged the boys good bye, hugging Alex first and Grayson last, as I was hugging Grayson he lightly kissed me on the cheek, I held him close and sighed, I then watched as the boys all walked away. "Okay then" I said clapping my hands together "are you ready for a girls night in?" I asked, both girls squealed in excitement as I unlocked the door.

"Mum, Dad I'm home" I called out, mum came rushing over "hello darling" mum said hugging me, she looked at Casey and Ella "Oh hello, who are you " she asked sweetly "I'm Ella" Ella said confidently, "I'm Casey" Casey said, slightly quieter than Ella. "Ah yes, Elizabeth talks about you girls a lot" my mum said smiling "well I'm going to carry on with the novel, you girls go and have some fun" mum said as she walked back to the computer. We were about to walk upstairs until Ella saw the parrots "OH...MY...GOD!!" She cried "what?!" Casey asked "you have the cutest parrots EVER!" She shouted, I laughed as she rushed over, "careful, don't stroke them unless you have a mealworm" I said, picking up the white box filled with mealworms, Ella stared at them in disgust "ew no I'm not touching them!" She said, Casey and I exchanged looks and rolled our eyes, we all burst out laughing. I opened the box and held a mealworm in between my hand "watch this" I said as I fed Papi a meal worm whilst stroking him, I then did the same to cutie. "That stinks!" Casey complained, covering her nose with her jumper sleeve, I laughed as I pushed the box closer to her "get away from me!!" She shouted in laughter running away from me, I started to chase her, Ella then joined in, grabbing hold of Casey so she couldn't run anymore "nooo please don't!!" She whined,Ella and I laughed hysterically as we put the box of mealworms away, Casey sighed and soon started laughing along with us. "Shall we go penny boarding?" I asked "yes please! Definitely after what you just put me through!" Casey exclaimed, we both looked at Ella "what about you?" I asked, she rubbed her arm saying nothing, she then sighed and said "I don't know how" I looked at her confused, but then realised something "that's why when we went to the skatepark you did no skating" I said, feeling clever, she nodded "well we'll teach you" Casey said "yeah I have a spare penny board in the basement, I'll go get it" I said as I ran down the stairs to my basement. I soon ran back up with my yellow and green penny board, "okay" I said "let's go" we left the house, Casey and I skating along with Ella walking behind us. "Look" I said "push hard with one foot, then lift it off the ground and balance it on the board, then you'll just travel along, you just lightly push your foot on the ground when you want to go faster" I said, demonstrating how to do it. Ella nodded as she placed one foot on the board, "someone hold my hand" she said taking a deep breath, Casey and I giggled as we both skated over and held her hand, she pushed with the other foot and started skating along in the middle of Casey and me.

Ethan's P.O.V
"Grayson look" I said nudging Grayson on the arm "what?" He asked, I pointed out the window and Grayson looked, Ella, Casey and Elizabeth were all skating up and down the road holding hands, they must've been teaching Ella how to skate. "Imma go surprise them" I told Grayson "okay" he said as we both stood up, we slipped on our Nike shoes and quietly walked out the house, we stood behind a bush to hind ourselves as the girls skated past. "Wow this is so much easier than I thought" Ella said. She was so stunning, her brown hair blowing back in the wind, the beautiful wide smile she has whenever she laughs, the way she moves, she is fascinating. Conveniently the girls stopped for a break, they were facing the opposite way so this was my chance, I quietly ran along the pavement until I reached them and wrapped my arms around Ella "ah!" She quietly squealed, she turned around to face me "Ethan Dolan you naughty boy! You scared me!" She said pointing at me, I laughed to myself "I'm a man, not a boy" I said broadly, Ella laughed to herself "whatever you say boy" I rolled my eyes and I lifted her up off the ground, she wrapped her legs around me and clung onto the back of my t-shirt. Casey and Beth were stood watching us, laughing but I just ignored them for now, my main focus was Ella. I looked at her deep in the eyes and couldn't help but lean forward, I kissed her, and she kissed back, everyone was staring but I didn't care, Ella pulled away and let out a deep breath, I opened my eyes and smiled, but as I did so she crashed our lips together. I don't know why I waited until I was 16 to show my real feelings to her.

Grayson' P.O.V
I was hidden behind a bush, watching Ella and Ethan intimately kiss, I cringed at the fact that it was my best friend and brother. I then looked over to my angel Beth, I really wanted to surprise her, I decided to run from the bush over to her, she was to focussed on her conversation with Casey, whilst trying not to look at Ethan and Ella to notice me, I ran towards her and clashed my lips onto hers, she was not expecting it at all, and fell back slightly, but I wrapped my arm around her to stop her from hitting the ground, my lips still attached to hers, I cupped her face as she wrapped her arms around my waist, pulling me closer to her. I never wanted the moment to end, all I wanted was to stay there with Beth, but that didn't happen the moment was ruined as Casey coughed as if to tell us all to stop, Beth pulled away from me, and so did Ella to Ethan. "Okay, let's go now, we can carry on with our girls night in, we can do face masks maybe?" Casey said with a serious and annoyed tone, staring at the ground then to the girls, Ella and Beth exchanged looks and sighed "yes of course Casey" Beth said smiling, I couldn't help but feel bad for Casey, if Alex was here it would be less awkward, but I guess she was just stood watching all her best friends kiss, I sighed feeling sorry for her. Beth looked at me and hugged me tight and didn't let go, even when I tried, I felt my t-shirt suddenly go slightly wet, I then saw tears start to slowly roll down her face "hey, hey are you okay? Don't cry" I whispered to her rocking her back and fourth, Ethan then walked over and started rubbing her on the back "hey are you okay?" He asked her whispering, she shook her head, I looked at Ethan "you take her inside, I'm gonna tell the girls that they will have to change the girls night in to a different day" I whispered to Ethan, he nodded as I passed Beth to him, she hugged him tightly and started full on crying now, she was shaking loads, and crying her eyes out, I looked over as I saw Ethan take her inside whilst I had to explain to Ella and Casey that they should meet a different day, they both nodded as they started to walk away.

sorry this chapter is a little crazy, I wanted even more drama to happen. So basically if you don't know what happened Beth has a panic attack, but I will not say why u tilt he next chapter. Hehe xxx
