Raeleigh's P.O.V.

The sun shining through my window wasn't the only reason I was pulled from a deep sleep. Casper was moving around, pretty much shaking the whole house. Maybe not but it felt like it.

"Casper!" I groaned, my throat soar and dry.

I leaned up, my side aching. My elbow doesn't hurt as much, my lip is still aching every time I talk, and my boyfriend is doing jumping jacks.

"Why?" I asked, slinging my feet over the edge of the bed.

"I needed something to get my blood going, I do this every morning," He said, stopping his jumping jacks and walking over to me.

I was still trying to wipe the sleep from my eyes when he pressed his lips to my forehead.

"Ugh, I probably look terrible," I mumbled, stretching as I stood up.

My ribs ached as I stretched my arms up above my head. I jerked them back down, hunching over.

"You okay?" Casper asked, trying to steady me.

I nodded, walking toward my bathroom.

"I'm gonna be out in a minute. You can go ahead and go downstairs if you want," I said, glancing at him before shutting the bathroom door behind me.

I grabbed a rag from the cabinet beside me and stuck it under the faucet. The hot water burning my skin, refreshing and painful at the same time.

I squeezed the water from the rag, letting the damp material wash the sleep from my face before I picked up my toothbrush and brushed my teeth.

I pulled a brush through my long tangled hair, wincing every time the brush caught a tangled knot.

I pulled my long brown hair back, twisted it into a huge messy bun.

I dragged myself from my warm bathroom, walking past my bed and straight down the stairs.

I walked around the corner, almost bumping straight into Casper.

"Whoa, hey babe. Where are you going?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck.

My ribs ached as I stretched to be as tall as him.

"I was gonna come up and say bye. I gotta go. My mom called and said she needed my help to pack up Brooke's things. She is moving into her dorm soon," He said, smiling and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Awe, okay. Have you seen my purse by chance? I haven't seen it since last night, before everything..." I mumbled, looking around.

"I think it was by your bed. Why?" He asked.

"I just wanted to find my taser," I said, shrugging it off.

"If you want, I can teach you to fight," He offered, my smile spreading from ear to ear.

"I'd love that," I said, pecking his lips.

"Ray Ray!" My brother yelled, barreling down the stairs like a hurricane on crack.

I pulled away from Casper, reaching down to ruffle Jasper's dark brown hair.

"Hey buddy, how long have you been up?" I asked, glancing at the clock on the wall.

It's only nine, yet I feel like I slept until at least twelve.

"I don't know. Mom said I was up before the birds," He said, running around Casper.

"Do you like my sister?" He asked.

Casper bent down and whispered something in his ear, Jasper laughed and ran off before I could ask him what.
