You and Fred skid around the corner laughing your heads off. You knew Snape was coming after you for the prank you pulled on him but he'd have to catch you.

"Is he behind us?" Fred asked still grinning from ear to ear. You shrugged turning so you were running backwards. You didn't spot Snape, thank Merlin.

"No..." you began but before you could turn back around you tripped over something and fell on your back.

"Woah".

Fred who was a little bit behind you tripped over you and fell right on top of you. Good thing he caught himself with his hands before his face smashed into yours by accident.

You both stared at each other speechless for a moment but then Fred began to laugh. You couldn't help but do the same. It was an incredibly awkward yet funny situation. You could practically feel the vibrations from Fred's body because he was shaking so much as he laughted.

"Sorry" you said through giggles.

"It's fine" Fred smiled. You continued to laugh but Fred did not. He just examined you closely. You could feel his eyes go from your eyes to your lips. "Your laugh's super cute you know" Fred said as you started to calm down.

You didn't reply. Actually you were starting to wonder why Fred hadn't gotten off of you yet.

"We should probably get going before Snape..." but you weren't allowed to finish. Fred had smashed his lips on to yours making you gasp in surprise. It took you a minute to realize what was going on but when you did you kissed him back.

You've thought about kissing Fred before but you hadn't expected it to be like this. With Fred on top of you in an empty hall way while you were supposed to be running from Snape. You enjoyed it all the same.

Fred hummed sweetly into your mouth before pulling away.

"What was that for?" You asked a small laugh escaping your lips.

"I just can't get enough of your laugh love" Fred explained "and I've wanted to do that for a while".

Before you could say anything back the sound of foot steps came from around the corner. With that Fred jumped up, pulled you to your feet, and you took off but this time you were holding hands as you ran.
