(Daurin's POV)

So today na yung Sports Fest ng school namin, and us Senior High students are pretty fired up! Nalaman kase namin na yung prize is 1 month, free food from the cafeteria for the entire class! Who wouldn't want that prize?!

"Camz, punta tayo gymnasium." Ani ko,

"Bakit?! Anong ganap?!"

Oh shit, right. I forgot to tell her.
Nagkamot muna ako ng ulo then I told her,

"Chase asked me to watch him play basketball.."

Nanahimik si Camille, and her face looked so surprised. After that awkward silence she spoke, "Are you serious?! Miss Daurin Wyatt, why would he ask you to do that?! Ha?! Di mo na ako binabalitaan!"

"He just randomly asked me lang naman.. And I kind of made a bet."

"Anong bet, aba?!"

"If natalo siya, lilibre niya ako.."

"And if he wins?!"

"...bigyan ko daw siya ng rewrard.." I quietly muttered

"Oh my gosh, anong reward?! Anong reward!?" Camille excitedly asked, pulling my shirt.

"Wala siyang sinabe e, bigla siyang nag offline kagabi. So I have no idea kung anong reward hihingin niya."

"Oooooh~ I see, I see. Hehe" Camille creepily laughed, and smirked, "Tara na!"

Camille pulled me going to the gymnasium and nung nakarating na kame, grabe. Sobrang daming students. May mga banner banner pa. And since Chase's popularity has been increasing this past month, may mga banner na din na sumusuporta sakanya.

"GO GO GO CHASE CONNORS! ❤️"
"NOTICE US, CHASE!"
"WE LOVE YOU CHASE!"

And those are just some of the banners, there are more. Elibs talaga ako sa lalaking 'yun.

I looked around the gymnasium trying to find Chase, and nasulyapan ko siya sa may corner ng court.
He was with a girl.
And yung girl, inaabutan siya ng sports drink and towel. And I saw how Chase gladly accepted it.

I couldn't take my eyes off them. Somehow, it made me furious. My heart felt like it was being stabbed by a thousand needles. Yung noo ko kumunot, nawala ako sa mood. I tried to look away, but my eyes kept turning back to them. What's happening to me?

All I know is I that hated what I was seeing.

So the game started, and magkalaban ngayon is yung grade namin, 11th grade and our seniors, 12th grade. Second Quarter na pero yung galit ko, still remained. Sa unang quarter, nanalo yung team nila Chase, kaso nung pangalawang quarter yung 12th Grade nanalo. And now we're down to the last quarter.

The whole time nakatingin lang ako kay Chase, he was so amazing. I never would've know na ganun pala siya kagaling. Everytime I'd watch him parang nag-bblur yung background and siya lang makikita ko. It felt unreal. He's so cool.

Nagising ako sa realidad nang bigla siya naka 3-point shoot. Nakita ko siyang mag 'yes' and biglang napatingin siya sakin. Nginitian niya 'ko, and he gave me a thumbs-up.

Tumibok ng sobra sobra nanaman yung puso ko, and I felt the feverish feeling nanaman.

Biglang nagsi-tilian yung mga babae sa harapan namin, "Ohmygod! Tumingin sakin si Chase Connors!" Sigaw nung Ate Gurl sa harap ko.
