(Marcus' POV)

"Uhm. When the fuck did I tell you na gusto kita?" Ani ni Daurin na may gigil.

"Oh! Rejected!"
"So there are girls that hate you, Marc."
"As expected from the school's princess." My friends started shouting at us, and the whole class was looking at me.

Sino ba 'tong Daurin na 'to?! Purket princesa siya ng school na 'to? anak ng may-ari? Kaya niya na gantuhin ang isang Marcus Agustin? I'll make this stupid girl pay.

With so much anger boiling in my body, I grabbed Daurin by the collar. But before I could do anything, someone hit me and I fell to the floor. Shit.

I tasted blood in my mouth, my uniform had droplets of blood, too. As I looked at who did this, I saw the newbie Chase Connors. Tsk, Tangina neto.

"What the hell, dude?!" sigaw ko sakanya.

His eyes turned scary as shit. It was ice cold, "Don't fucking touch her, she's mine." he said to my face, and stormed out with that stupid girl.

"Dang, bro! Okay ka lang?" Ani ng isa sa mga tropa ko as he helped me stand up.

"Tangina, bro. Tsk." ani ko habang pinupunasan ko yung dumudugo kong labi.

Tumingin ako sa paligid, at lahat sila nagbubulungan.

"Casanova yan? Wow. Nareject naman."

"He was too cocky."

"Ayan, ayan. Pakboi kasi."

I was so mad, fucking mad. I walked out the room,

"Yo bro! San ka pupunta?!" sigaw nung isa ko pang ka-tropa.

I ignored them, went to the school clinic, grabbed a bandaid and placed it on my lip. And I proceeded to search those two stupid low-lifes para mabayaran nila ang ginawa nila sakin.

No one does that to me, no fucking one.

(Daurin's POV)

"Wow, naman. How sweet." Ani ni Marcus na naka-ngisi.

Napatayo si Chase, "What do you want?"

Marcus chuckled, "Calm down, knight in shining armor."

I stood up too, and faced him. "Just leave." I crossed my arms.

He was just grinning, not acknowledging what I just said. His gaze turned to Chase, "Chase Connors, right? For a new student, you've become very popular."

"Do you think I give a damn?"

"I'm here to make peace, okay? I wanted to apologize." Ani niya, "Daurin, pasensya ka na sa nagawa ko. I was just having fun, I went overboard. I hope we get along since magpartners tayo sa case study." he added and I saw a hint of sincerity in his eyes.

Tumingin ako kay Chase with my puppy-eyes. As if I was saying na 'papatawarin ko na siya, ha?' Chase just sighed, and I let out a faint smile. Ba't ba kase ang bait ko!? "N-no, sorry din. Medyo ang harsh din ng nasabe ko."

Nginitian ako ni Marcus, and he turned to Chase. "Sorry din bro, I didn't mean any harm sa girlfriend mo."

Di sumagot si Chase, at biglang naaninag ko si Mikaella.

"Chase! There you are! Tawag tayo ni Prof. Bruja!" she said, walking towards us.

She grabbed Chase by the arm, and pulled him away. Nakita ko si Chase na inaalis ang kamay niya kay Mikaella, kaso this espasol won't budge. "Later, Daurin!" sigaw ni Chase na nasa malayo na. and I waved in response.

I can't believe that girl. How could she do that infront of me, his girlfriend. Take note, HIS GIRLFRIEND. It hurts to see them. And.. why did he just let her take him like that.

Why didn't I stop him? Bwisit na pride 'to! I hate this. I hate myself right now.

I looked around, and nawala na si Marcus. Since I was missing class, I decided to skip nalang. So I sat at the bench and my mind started to wonder. I didn't realize that I fell asleep.

Nagulat ako because I felt something cold touch my forehead. I opened my eyes and saw a bottle of strawberry milk, I sat and saw Marcus holding it with a smile on his face.

"Goodmorning." at natawa siya.

"Shut up. Why're you laughing?! Is this.. for me? Baka may lason 'to." sagot ko habang inaabot sakin ni Marcus yung strawberry milk.

"Oo. May gayuma yan, ha." then he winked.

I threw the milk to the ground, "I don't need it."

Natawa nanaman siya, "I'm kidding. It's free. Take it." he said as he picked-up the milk I threw.

"If you insist." I said and drank the milk.

"You missed 3 subjects, sleepyhead ka pala. Buti nalang free time lang kase may meeting mga staffs and admin. Dalawang beses ako bumalik, kaso tulog ka pa din. So this third time, I decided na gisingin ka na." Ani niya habanga iniinum ang cold coffee niya.

"Shit, buti nalang." I sighed in relief.

"Yung milk, may bayad na pala. Pati yung paggising ko sayo, meron din."

Siniko ko siya, "Wag na. Baka gusto mo iwan kita sa case study mo."

"Di mabiro? Kidding."

"Uhm.."

"Si Chase ba?" at ngumisi siya.

Naramdaman kong namula ako. Umiwas ako ng tingin at tumango.

"Well.. di ko siya nakita, pati si Mikaella. Baka nasa library nagc-casestudy?"

I sighed again. Then silence wrapped around us. 3 hours? Silang dalawa lang? Baka ano na nagawa nung espasol na 'yun. Damn it.

As I looked at Marcus' direction, he was staring at me. and I was in shock. What the hell?

"Uhmm? Is there something in my face?" I asked and cupped my face.

Nakatitig pa din sakin si Marcus, at winave ko na yung kamay ko sa mukha niya.

"Hello? Earth to Marcus? Buhay ka pa?"

"May something sa pisngi mo." ani niya.

Nagpagpag ako, and I asked, "wala na?"

"Akin na." He went closer to me then he cupped my face, and wiped my cheek.

Anong ginagawa nito?! Alam niya ba yung personal space?! Kase need ko yun ngayon, hello!

then I felt something hot touch my cheek.

This bastard just kissed my cheek.

Di ako makareact, I was in shock. What the hell was that for?! I want to fcking punch him.

"Ayan na bayad na yung milk--"

Then I heard something drop from behind me. Lumingon ako to see Chase and Mikaella staring at us, Chase's eyes were different. and on the floor was probably printed files from the case study na nahulog ni Chase sa gulat.

I saw Chase clench his fist, and I felt a stabbing sensation in my chest.

Agad agad akong tumayo para lapitan si Chase, "Chase-- Its-- Its not what it looks like! I--" and before I could explain anything, Chase turned his back on me and left me standing there.

I felt my heart sink to the ground.

"Ch-Chase..?"
