Me and Chase

m&c: 6

(Daurin's POV)

We're at school right now, the weekend passed by pretty fast, and now nasa cafeteria kame ni Camille having our lunch break.

I finally know what's been happening to me recently. It wasn't some major sickness, I'm just inlove. Down side about it is recently iniiwasan ko si Chase. Masyado na 'kong nagiging aware sa mga surroundings ko lalo na pag nandyan si Chase. Yung puso ko parang sasabog. I can't look at him, talk to him or even face him anymore. But I wanna hang with him so bad..

"Daurin! Okay ka lang? Kinausap ako ni Chase" ani ni Camille habang kumakain ng burger.

"Don't talk with your mouth hella full! Kadiri." then I took a bite of my sandwich, "A-Ano sabe naman ni Ch-ch-chase.." I added while fidgeting.

"Well, he asked me why you were avoiding him daw, and he asked me kung may nagawa daw ba siyang mali. He was like some idiotic-6th grader asking kung mahal mo siya kahit di siya pinayagan umalis kayo kase ayaw ng nanay niya!" then she laughed so loudly, and burger pieces in her mouth came flying to my face.

"Heh! Grabe ka naman Camz! Anyway, I'm not mad.." I put my sandwich down, and face-palmed myself, "I can't seem to look at him in the eyes and talk normally to him like I used to since nalaman kong.. ano.."

"Nalaman mong ano?"

I heard a voice behind me at lumingon ako. Just to find Chase standing behind me holding a tray of food, grinning.

"W-W-W-W-WA-WALA!" I said and I immediately stood-up.

"Ano nga?" at mas lalong lumaki ang ngisi niya.

"W-wala nga! B-ba't ka ba nakikis-s-sabat!" I felt my face heat-up and I was shaking.

His grin widened again, and he held my left cheek which made me jump.

"Oh? Ba't ka namumula?" pang-aasar niya.

"N-nilalagnat ako! Tse!" I said, then I stormed out.

I heard him laugh from afar, and while I was storming out I saw people looking at me. I can't believe I caused a scene.

"Did you see Chase smile?"

"She made Chase laugh? how'd she do that?"

"Swerte swerte niya na nga na nakausap niya si Chase, eh!"

"Maganda nga kaso abusado! Be thankful nalang siya pa nilapitan."

"I can't believe si Chase pa lumapit sakanya."

"Girlfriend niya ba yan? Di sila bagay!"

Those are some of the whispers I heard as I left the cafeteria. Ugh, this day seems to be getting worser by the minute. Bwisit kase yung Chase na 'yun!

(Camille's POV)

Daurin stormed out, I'm currently trying to enjoy my burger and nakatingin ako kay Chase na nakatitig lamang sa likod ni Daurin na unti-unting papalayo samin.

I grinned and started to speak, "Go get her, Chase."

Napatingin sakin si Chase, and he nodded. He walked towards the exit of the Cafeteria to go and catch-up to Daurin.

"C-camille.." some girl approached me,

"Yes?" I asked as I took a sip from my Milktea.

She was fidgeting and was hesitating to speak, "Spit it out." I added.

"S-si...Sila b-ba..?" she asked me, and as she gazed at me, I saw her cheeks that was as red as tomatoes.

I came to a conclusion that she was one of Chase's admirers. What do people see in him? He's a cold person who's only kind to Daurin. This girl better not ruin their love story.

I smirked and answered, "Soon."

The girl's face was priceless, I was about to burst-out laughing. It was too obvious how much she was let-down.

"Th-thank you." then she left.

I'm happy for you, Daurin.

(Daurin's POV)

"Daurin!" someone called out to me, lumingon ako just to find-out na si Chase nanaman.

I was pissed at him for mocking me sa buong cafeteria. Ayaw ko muna siya makausap.

"Go away, Chase." I said and walked faster.

I heard him run, and he suddenly grabbed my arm, "Let's talk." he seriously said,

"Bakit ba? Let me go!" I said, struggling to remove my arm from his grip.

He stared at me. His eyes were begging for me to come with him. So, I had no choice but to just nod, and follow him. Swerte niya kase I love him too much.

He dragged me to the back of the school, and silence ang bumalot samin.

I broke the silence, and it took everything in me to say, "So it's easy for you to kiss other girls, huh." I didn't know why I said that, but right now, I'm fucking regretting it. Stupid mo naman, Daurin.

Napalingon si Chase, and he seemed mad. He walked towards me and I took a step back hanggang sa naka-lean na ako sa wall. I was gonna walk away kaso nakaharang both sides ko with his arms.

I got nervous, his eyes were just staring at me. It felt like he was staring at my soul. I tried to look away but I ended up looking at him, "A-ano ba kailangan m-mo?" I nervously asked.

"Tell me, Daurin Wyatt. Do I look like the type of person to kiss others so easily?"

I swallowed the lump blocking my throat and answered, "I.. I don't.. know."

It was like time stopped and it was like we were the only two people on this planet. I couldn't move or speak, he kissed me.

It was so soft, so warm. It made the hairs on my skin arise, it felt.. like magic.

As his lips left mine, He stared at my eyes. His eyes were so sparkly. Nasisinagan ng araw ang buhok niya, at ngayon naman ay hawak niya ang kaliwang pisngi ko.

"Daurin, Mahal kita."
