(Daurin's POV)

After that amazing night full of heart-racing moments, I had to return to reality. I'm at school right now, was almost late too.

"Daurin! Wow you were almost late. Patay ka nanaman sana kay Prof. Bruja." ani ni Camille habang hinahalungkat bag niya.

"Yeah, I know. I ran the halls. Sinita pa 'ko kaso I don't wanna die early!"

As I sat on my seat, tumingin ako sa paligid ng classroom. Baka masulyapan ko si Chase. I wanna see him. I looked around, but he was out of sight.

"Oh bakit? Miss mo na agad si Chase?" sabe ni Camille at ngumisi siya.

"N-no!"

"Goodmorning, class. Today we are going to have an activity. I will be assigning ang magiging partners niyo. What you'll be doing--"

"Prof, sorry I'm late."

"Ah, Mr. Connors, late. Any excuses?"

"No prof. I apologize prof. Traffic kase eh."

"That's no valid excuse, get to your sit. Papalagpasin ko 'to only for now dahil importante tong activity."

"Thank you, prof. Sorry prof." ani ni Chase at nagpunta na siya sa seat niya.

"Anyway, what you'll be doing is a Case Study. Again, I'll be assigning you your partners. Boy-Girl."

And of course, crossed fingers ako. Na sana si Chase ang maging partner ko. Please, lord. Let him be my partner!

Marcus Agustin. Ugh. I'm so lucky! I don't even know who this person is. And apparently, Chase is partners with the Leader of the Espasols, Mikaella Heinrich.

"Chase! Let's get along! Goodluck sa Case Study natin." ani ni Mikaella sabay pa-cute. What the fuck?

"Uhmm... Who are you?" ani ni Chase with cold-dead eyes. Ha! Buti nga!

Hinampas hampas niya si Chase habang tumatawa, "You're so silly! It's me Mikaella. Mikky nalang." and she gave him a smile. yuck.

Chase just nodded, and as he was about to leave the room, kumapit yung espasol na yun sa braso niya. Ugh. Hayup ka. Umalis ka. I will kill you.

"Nagmumukha ka nang demonyo."

"WHAT?!" sigaw ko

"Mukha nang demonyo mukha mo." ani nung boses.

Pag-tingin ko it was my partner, Marcus.

"Shut up." I said and crossed my arms.

"Wow ha, shinu-shutup mo lang ang isang Marcus Agustin? You have some guts."

"Who the hell are you ba?"

"Notorious Casanova. Easyhan mo lang while we do our case-study. Baka ma-fall ka sakin." he said as he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Don't be so full of yourself. Pano ka naging Casanova kung you're not even that pogi?"

I heard him laugh, "No need to act like that. You're the school's princess. Maganda ka naman, matalino. I might give you a chance."

"I don't need any 'chances' from you, okay?" then I rolled my eyes. "Wala tayong matatapos kung puro kayabangan mo yung pinapairal mo." I added.

"Mayabang pero alam kong gusto mo nito." And he started doing muscle-poses. Mukha siyang tanga. Di ko na napigilang matawa. "Fuck off." I said, laughing.
