"Hey baby, I'm gonna run to the store to buy a few things," Liam says and Zayn looks up at him.
"Can I come?" Zayn asks with a curious smile And hopeful eyes.
     "Yeah sure if you want to. It won't be very fun or exciting," Liam warns him as he finds his wallet and car keys.
      "It beats zitting here all day," zayn shrugs as he puts on his oversized boots and stands up.
"And I've never been grocery shopping so this will be fun," he adds confidently and follows Liam out the door.

Once at the grocery store, Liam first finds a shopping cart
     "Liam can I sit in the cart?" Zayn asks with a huge excited smile.
      "No you cannot sit in the cart!" Liam insists.
      "But Liam that would be zo much fun!! You could push me around! More than you already do..." Zayn says pleadingly.
"Zayn. Our food goes in the cart. Not you," Liam mutters impatiently.
"That kid gets to sit in a cart..." Zayn mutters as he glances over at a mother and her daughter.
     "She does get to sit in the cart. But she's also 3 years old. You're not 3 years olds  Zayn. You can walk," Liam says indifferently and Zayn pouts unhappily and follows Liam.
     "Alright then, We're not going to get too much. Just a few things for the week," Liam says as he pulls out a little piece of crinkled paper.
     "What's that?" Zayn asks.
     "It's my grocery list," Liam explains. He tries to put the list back in his pocket but Zayn steals it and looks it over with a smirk.
      "You actually wrote out what we need?" Zayn asks with a grin and Liam nods.
     "Why the fuck would anybody do that?" Zayn laughs b
      "So I can actually remember what we need otherwise this whole trip would be a complete waste of time because I would forget what we don't have at home," Liam explains as he pushes the cart down an isle.
      "Liam you're zuch a nerd," Zayn laughs and Liam rolls his eyes and tries to ignore Zayn.
      "What do we need cake mix for, Liam?" Zayn wonders, glancing up at Liam curiously as he puts a few boxes of cake mix in the cart.
     "It's always good to have some on hand. You never know when you might need a good cake mix," Liam replies with a shrug, trying to hide his smile.
     "Are we gonna make brownies again?!" Zayn asks excitedly.
     "You can't make brownies out of cake mix, you idiot," Liam mutters and Zayn giggles.
     "You can if you try hard enough," Zayn says.
      "No you cannot! And you make fun of me for being dumb..." Liam mutters and Zayn laughs again as Liam snatches the list back and stuffs It back in his pocket.
      "Out of plain curiosity, what's your favorite flavor of frosting," Liam wonders casually.
      "I don't know I like them all," Zayn shrugs.
      "That's not helping me," Liam mutters.
       "Why do you wanna know zo bad, huh Liam?" Zayn wonders curiously with a grin.
      "Because I just want to know! Don't worry about it!" Liam replies guiltily and Zayn laughs.
      "That blue one looks pretty nice," zayn suggests as he glances at a container of light blue frosting.
     "Good to know..." Liam mutters and Zayn stares at him suspiciously as Liam continues down the isle.
      "So what else are we getting Liam?" Zayn asks with a smile.
     "I don't know Zayn. Why don't you pull out  your handy-dandy list and see," Liam suggests sarcastically.
     "I don't have a list Liam. I don't need one," Zayn says confidently and Liam shakes his head
     "Clearly you're the amateur shopper here," Liam mutters.
     "I'm just along for the ride. And to keep you company," Zayn explains with a casual shrug.
"Lucky me..." Liam mutters as he Stops to look for the next item on his handy-dandy shopping list.
      He bends over to pick something out and Zayn suddenly gets another "great idea" out of nowhere.
       With a huge grin, Zayn glances over his shoulder then steps closer to Liam. Before he can rethink his idea, Zayn slaps Liam's butt, making Liam jump upright and gasp in surprise.
      Liam adjusts his coat and stands up straight, glaring at Zayn but with a rosy redness in his cheeks
     Zayn just stands with his hands in his pockets, smiling mischievously as he stares obliviously at a display of orange juice, trying his absolute hardest not to burst into laughter.
     "What the fuck was that!?" Liam demands.   
      "What the fuck was what?," Zayn mutters with a smile.
      "Excuse you!" Liam says.
"You're excused," Zayn says playfully. "Don't let it happen again," he giggles.
"Do we need to go home now?" Liam asks seriously with authority in his voice.
     "Do we need to go home now?" Zayn repeats in his best Liam voice. 
     "Excuse me?" Liam asks in surprise.
      "I already told you not to let it happen again Liam. You really need to learn to listen better," Zayn says with a huge smirk.
     "What has gotten into you?" Liam asks in confusion and Zayn laughs.
    "I'm a naughty little boy," Zayn shares with a smirk as he bites his lip.
    "What you just did was completely inappropriate and extremely embarrassing. You will not do that again, do you understand me?" Liam asks seriously.
    "Mhm," Zayn nods with a smile as he tries to be straight faced and serious but can't help but giggle. Liam just shakes his head and let's go of Zayn's arm.
     Liam's just too cute when he's all flustered like this.
"Behave yourself Zayn," Liam mutters and Zayn's goofy grin grows wider.
     "Okay Daddy," he agrees and Liam looks back at him. He shakes his head and keeps pushing the cart down the aisle. Zayn smiles proudly to himself and follows.
A little bit later when Zayn wasn't looking and no one else is around, Liam gets his payback; he slaps Zayn's bum really hard and Zayn jumps, rubbing  his sore bottom through his jeans.
"Ow!" He cries, clearly shocked as he looks up at Liam with big innocent eyes.
Liam just grunts then looks away with a little smirk on his face as he searches for the next item on their list.
"I know you liked that..." Liam mutters and Zayn blushes slightly and can't help but giggle.
He really did like that....
