Zalien Abduction

Ziam arrives at the popular restaurant downtown just in time, despite Zayn constantly telling Liam he would be late.
They walk up to the large, slightly crowded restaurant But Zayn stops outside the door and Liam stops when he notices Zayn's hesitation. He turns back to face Zayn with a worried look.
"Everything okay baby?" He asks as he walks up to him.
"Liam I..... I'm zcared," Zayn admits timidly.
"There's noting to be scared about Zaynie. I promise," Liam smiles as he rests his hands on Zayn's arms comfortingly before wrapping Zayn in a tight hug, drawing small comforting circles on his back with his hand.
"But What if your parents don't like me?" Zayn asks, looking up at Liam with big worried eyes.
"There's no way my parents wont like you Zayn," Liam assures him.
"I mean... just... how on Earth could anybody possibly not like you?" He grabs Zayn's hand and smiles reassuringly at him.
"I don't know... I'm zure they'll find something not to like about me. It's not that hard...." Zayn mumbles, staring down at the sidewalk.
"Hey... what did we say about putting yourself down like this?" Liam warns, pecking Zayn's lips, trying to calm him down. He didn't like seeing Zayn so anxious and worried like this.
"There's nothing to worry about. It's just my mom and dad," Liam tells him. "You'll be okay. They'll love you. I promise. And I'll be with you the whole time," Liam explains.

"I'm sorry-" Zayn sighs and shook his head. "I don't know why I get zo worried."

"They will love you. Because I do," Liam states in full confidence. He kisses Zayn once more before he finds his hands and they finally walk into the restaurant and see the Payne's waiting.

"C'mon," Liam says with a smile as he gives Zayn's hand a reassuring squeeze and leads him over to his parents who were chatting causally amongst themselves.

"Mum! Dad!," Liam greets excitedly as they walk up to them.

"Liam!! Dear, It's been so long since we've seen you, I was so happy when you called the other day to invite us to dinner," Liam's mom says as she wraps him in a warm, motherly hug.

"I know, it's been too long-" Liam agrees as he hugs her back and kisses her cheek. He lets go and hugs his dad next.

He draws away and takes a long, brave breath.

"Mum..... Dad..... This is Zayn," Liam says with a smile as he rests his hand on the small of Zayn's back.

"Hello," Zayn replies quietly with a nervous but adorable smile.

"So, this is the famous Zayn we've been hearing about?" Mrs. Payne asks with a smile as she gives Zayn a warm hug also.
     "This is the one," Liam nods, smiling happily as he watches Zayn awkwardly hug his mother back with a surprised expression.
     "You know, I just thought that it was about time that you guys got to meet my boyfriend whom I love very much. He's a really big part of my life now and you deserve to know who he is too." Liam adds as he watches his dad shake Zayn's hand.

"It's wonderful to meet you Zayn. We've heard a lot about you from Liam," Mrs. Payne says.

"It's nice to meet you too," Zayn replies politely with a smile.

"And....you're even more handsome than Liam made you out to be," Liam's mom continues with a teasing grin.

"Moo-oooooom!!" Liam groans in embarrassment and his mom laughs.
