Before unlocking his car, Liam stands to face Zayn.
"Alright now. What happened?" He asks seriously.
"What?" Zayn asks in confusion.
"Why are you upset?" Liam asks.
"I'm not upset. I just wanna go home," Zayn shrugs as he tugs on the door handle that wouldn't open.
"That is such a fucking lie," Liam says.
"No it's not!! I just want to go home! And now I'm ztarting to get mad because you keep Insisting that I am!" Zayn insists.
"Zayn. If somethings bothering you, I want to help you. But I can't do that if you never tell me what's wrong," Liam says longingly.
"It's hard to tell you what's wrong when nothing's wrong," Zayn mutters.
"Tell me what's wrong and we'll go home," Liam reasons and Zayn rolls his eyes with an impatient groan.
"Hey. Watch that attitude, Mr. I could just leave you here all night. How would you like that then?,"
"Fine. Your dad hates me. Now unlock it. Let's go home," Zayn mutters quickly.
"What?" Liam asks with a laugh. "My dad doesn't hate you," Liam tells him.
"Yes he does," Zayn mumbles.
"No he does not. He's just a little rough around the edges. But trust me. they both love you," Liam insists
"Not him..... he told me zo himself," Zayn insists impatiently.
"He actually told you that?" Liam asks doubtfully. .
"Basically. He said I wasn't the one for you and we should just break up now because we'll never make it together," Zayn shrugs as his anger starts to return.
"What?!" Liam repeats.
      "He zaid I'm not good enough for you because I'm an unmotivated, useless bum that's never gonna amount to anything and just ruin your life. Now let's go home," Zayn says.
"Zayn! Hold on a minute. He said that to you?" Liam repeats, an angered look growing on his face
"Yeah zo what. Let's go home," Zayn shrugs again as he tries to open the door.
"What the fuck!! No!! That Is completely unacceptable! How could he fucking do that!?!" He says, his voice raised as he shakes his head.
"Liam.....please don't be angry. It doesn't even fucking matter lets just go-" Zayn starts.
"No! My dad shouldn't have said those things to you, okay? He thinks he knows what's best for me but he doesn't, and he's always been like this!" Liam insists angrily.
"I'm so in love with you, and the fact that he thinks that you aren't the one for me and he can just decide who I am going to spend the rest of my fucking life with really pisses me off.
"He always does this!!. You think he would stop treating me like a fucking helpless child now and realize Im a grown man who can decide for myself for once!" Liam rants angrily
     "Liam forget about it! Let's just go home!" Zayn pleads
"No Zayn.We're not going anywhere!" Liam Insists as he shoves his keys back in his coat pocket and grabs Zayn's wrist.
"Liam! What the fuck! Let go of me!" Zayn cries as he tries to pull his hand away.
"No Zayn. We are going back inside," Liam tells him as he pulls Zayn back toward the restaurant.
"Liam! Why? I just want to go home!!" Zayn insists.
"We are going back in there," Liam states.
"No Liam... It's not that big a deal I don't even care lets just go," Zayn pleads as he tugs against Liam's hand, trying to break free.
"My dad will not speak to you like that. We're going back in," Liam insists as he drags Zayn back to the restarting.
"Liam! I don't want to ztart a fight! It doesn't matter! I'm okay! I don't fucking care!" Zayn insists frustratedly.
"And I don't want to hear it! He will apologize to you!" Liam insists as they enter the restaurant just as Liam's parents were on their way to leave.
     They both look very confused when they see Liam and Zahn reenter the building.
     "Hello boys. Forget something?," Mrs. Payne greets with a confused smile. .
"Dad, you owe Zayn an apology," Liam orders, holding onto Zayn's hand so he wouldn't run away.
"And why's that?" Mr. Payne asks as he crosses his arms impatiently.
"Zayn told me what you said to him, and I will not be having it," Liam says.
"You think you know what's best for me, but you don't. You had no right to say those things to Him!
"You don't understand..... Zayn means so much to me and I love him with all my heart, why can't you see that, dad?" Liam pleads taking a deep breath.
