a knock is heard at my bedroom door, "can i come in?"

"it's open."

baekhyun comes in and sits next to me, "do you want to talk about it?"

"what is there to talk about?" i ask before sighing. "there's literally nothing to talk about anyway."

"but there is." baekhyun smiles. "we'll talk about minji and how your smile grows whenever you talk about her. i see how your mood brightens up whenever you used to message her." baekhyun then places his hand on my shoulder, proceeding to speak. "seeing you all gloomy like this makes you uglier than you already are."

i let out a small chuckle, "thanks, baek, but i don't think i will be talking to her anymore."

"why not? it's not against our rules or anything." baekhyun shrugs.

"yes it is! i have, not one, but two secret instagram accounts and i was basically catfishing this girl and ended up--" i cut myself off, eyes widened.

"ended up what, jongdae?"

"nothing," i reply, running a hand through my hair. "it's nothing."

"that doesn't seem like just nothing." baekhyun shakes his head. "do you like minji? like, more than a friend?"

i didn't speak.

"jongdae, do you like her?"

nothing.

baekhyun groans, "c'mon! just tell me!"

i grab my phone, unlocking it before holding onto the instagram app.

"what are you doing?" baekhyun asks, examining my actions. "are you really going to--?"

"done." i say after deleting the app.

"jongdae! why would you do that!" baekhyun shouts.

"it's not safe. if manager--"

"who gives a fuck if manager-hyung finds out?!"

"baekhyun!" i scream back. "i do!"

baekhyun takes a deep breath, calming himself before speaking once more, "you know what? it's your decision. i just don't like seeing you all sad and shit."

"it's okay, i understand." i smile. "thanks, baek."
