Kaitlyn’s P.O.V.

“And so we meet again,” Connor says.

“Wait, you two know each other?” Steve asked.

“Yes, we do,” I replied.

“How?” Steve asked.

“WHO IS THIS PERSON?” Liz asked.

“I’m Connor and you are,” Connor said.

“Liz, why are you sitting here?” Liz asked.

“Why are you sitting here?” Connor mocked Liz.

“Cause my friends are here, your turn,” she replied.

“Cause he is new and we are nice people, now tell us how you know him,” Blake said.

“He rides my bus, and is in my first period. We are supposed to be nice to the new people Liz!,” I replied.

"Soo?!"Liz replied incredulously.

"So..BE NICE!" I yelled.

"But...why are we nice to them?" Liz moaned.

“We just are,” Blake said.

“I don’t get it,” Connor said.

“What?” Liz asked.

Connor’s P.O.V.

“You and Kaitlyn seem to be best friends, but you seem to be scene and she seems to be emo,” I replied.

Kaitlyn was wearing an Attack Attack! Shirt and gray skinny jeans and Liz was wearing an Escape the Fate shirt and green skinny jeans.

“We are,” Kaitlyn replied.

“Do you have a problem with that?” Liz asked.

“No, but I didn’t know that scene people and emo people can be so close,” I replied.

“Well, they clearly are,” Steve said.

“Why did you make Liz hyper?” Kaitlyn asked Blake.

“Uhhh, I’d rather not answer that question,” Blake replied.

“Why?” Kaitlyn asked.

“Uhh, I don’t want to answer that question either,” Blake replied.

“Then, you do realize that you will die during practice,” Kaitlyn said.

“Then you will be without a drummer,” he said.

“We can find another drummer,” she replied.

“NO! WE CAN’T,” Steve cut in.

What is wrong with these people! I don’t get them; I met two other drummers today.

“Why can’t you?” I asked.

“No one likes them,” Blake replied.

“They like you even less,” Kaitlyn said.

“But I would be dead so they would like you and Steve even less than they like me.”

“Why?”

“Cause you would have killed me!”

“I’m not helping her with that!” Steve said.

“Good, I’ll die slower,” Blake replied.

“No, you’ll die faster,” Steve replied.

“But you wouldn’t be helping her.”

“But you two are talking about Kaitlyn, you will die faster,” Liz said.

“But,” Blake got cut off.

“They are right you know,” Kaitlyn said.

“What is wrong with you people!?!” I asked.

“Nothing,” Steve said.

“A lot of things,” Blake said.

“We are messed up,” Kaitlyn said.

“If you think we are messed up, you should see,” the bell rang, cutting Liz off, “Stupid bell.”

Kaitlyn’s P.O.V.

“You’re following me,” I said after I noticed that Connor was going in the same direction as me.

“No, I’m just going to my class,” Connor replied.

“Which is?” I asked.

“Guitar 2,” he said.

“And so we heading to the same class,” I said.

“Really? You play guitar, I thought that you were the singer in the band you’re in. You are in a band right?” Connor asked.

“I do but I suck at it, in the band I play bass, how did you know I was in a band?” I asked.

“Uh, cause of what you were talking about during lunch,” Connor replied.

“So, I’m guessing you figured out Blake is the drummer,” I said.

“Yep, does Steve sing then?” he asked.

“No, guitar, I don’t think you know the singer, yet,” I said while rolling my eyes.

“What do you mean by yet?” he asked.

“He is in this class, his name is Devin,” I replied.

“Why did you roll your eyes when I asked about him?” he asked.

“Cause,” I said, “He’s my ex.”

“Oh,” he replied.

“So, you play guitar?” I asked as we entered the classroom.

“Yeah, at my old school, I was in a band, we sucked,” he replied.

“Why did you suck?” I asked.

“We had no rhythm.”

“Oh, that would suck,”

“Yeah, and we couldn’t play in the same tempo,”

“Did you use a metronome?”

“Yes.”

“Wow, and you still sucked?”

“Yup.”

The bell rang and class started.
