There standing in the doorway was my brother, with his duffle bag slung over one shoulder and I gasped in delight. His hair was slightly shorter than it was the last time I’d seen him, then again that was about a year ago, and his face held a grin.

“Oh my god you’re here!” I screamed into the phone, and Taylor held it away from his ear before I made a face and ended the call. Why did I just scream into the phone when my brother is right in front of me? Wait he’s here so why am I standing around like an idiot?

“Taylor you’re here!” I squealed and ran forward, launching myself into his arms. He dropped his bag to the floor before catching me and spinning me around with him.

After he set me on my feet I couldn’t keep still. Bouncing on the balls of my feet I took his wrist and pulled him inside, before shutting the door behind us.

Feet touched the floor and I turned to see that everyone was crowding around us. I grinned at them all, before deciding that it would be best if I introduced everyone.

“Taylor these are my friends” I said gesturing at Elissa and Toni, since I knew he already knew the You Me At Six boys. He grinned at them both and I saw Toni blush. I rolled my eyes at her. There is no way she getting near my big brother.

“Toni, Elissa this is my big brother Taylor” I said gesturing at my brother and Elissa gasped.

“No way! Laura you had a go at me for not specifying that Josh was my brother, yet you never told me that your brother was Taylor York! From Paramore!” she screamed at me and I grinned shyly before shrugging.

“You never asked me who my brother was so I never told you” I replied and Lissa glared at me but I turned back to Taylor.

“I’m assuming you already know the guys” I said and Taylor nodded as Josh came forwards before they shuck hands.

“So you’re Taylor’s amazing little sister?” Josh questioned curiously. I felt my eyebrows rise before shrugging at him, though I didn’t miss the glare my brother sent Josh. I smiled at them both.

Hanna was watching from the bottom step and I sent a smile her way, though she didn’t return it and I could tell she hadn’t decided whether I was a friend or foe, so she sort of sent me a half glare mixed with a friendly expression. I bit my lip but decided to leave her. When she felt comfortable enough with me, and had decided that I was no threat to her then I would gladly open my arms and get to know her. Until that happened though it was probably best to leave her alone.

“Yeah pretty much” I replied, looking away from Hanna and at Josh who grinned at my reply. I tugged on Taylor’s hand, leading him to the kitchen since he was probably hungry.

“So would you like to tell me why your phone was off?” I asked him as he sat down at the table after hanging his coat up. He shrugged at me.

“Well I was on a plane. Duh” he replied and I rolled my eyes while searching for something that I could make him.

“How come you’re not with dad?” I asked him.

Taylor and our other two brothers, who were older than we were, had stayed over in Tennessee while I moved to England with my mum. Actually Taylor’s parents were still together but they’d suffered some issues and our dad had had a one night stand with my mum, ending up with her getting pregnant. People don’t believe us when we tell them that we are half siblings because we act like full siblings and are much closer than what I am with my other half-brothers Chris and Justin.

“I wanted to see my little sister. You haven’t been to visit us in a while and I missed you so I thought what the heck. Hayley and Jeremy are here as well in a hotel that we’ve booked into for a few weeks” he said and I nodded.
