Thor knows that Sif must truly be angry to cause such a loud noise to originate from her room. He lets out a deep breath as he knows the anger that will spill from her lips as soon as he lets himself into her room.

He has no choice, does he? He does not want to cause her any further harm by not going to her when she needs a friend, does he? He would hate himself if he didn't go to her when she needs a shoulder to beat.

He is not laughing at the thought as he shakes his head slowly from side to side. He knows much better than to let things continue the way they are since Sif is so upset over something.

He knows that his brother must have something to do with it, though he has no idea what it is at this point. He will be finding out soon enough, he is sure. He hates the thought of having to beat his brother but does he really have a choice at this point?

He does not want Loki to think that things can continue the way they are since Thor is supposed to protect those he loves. He hates that he was not hear in the heat of the moment but what else was he supposed to do when he was called by SHIELD?

He will have to speak with Sif to see what is going on so he will be better prepared in case she is angered again. He knows that he should feel bad for those who dared to anger the Goddess of War since he knows full well what could happen to those who try.

She has a temper and Thor knows better than to cross it at any point. That is why he is so nervous about entering her room. He does so quietly with his eyes slightly narrowed to show his wariness at the entire situation.

He crosses the room toward Sif with his hands outstretched so that she could see her friend is not armed in any way. He keeps his face clear of any and all emotion as he speaks to her in a quiet but measured tone of voice.

"My lady...what in the Seven Hells is going on? Why are you so angry and have me so afraid? Tell me who I need to destroy for you."

Lady Sif jumped when she heard the voice of Thor. Her surprise was evident on her face as she turned to look at him. She was used to Thor entering her room unannounced. Loki and Baldr tried it once. Each.

They both regretted it moments after, but Thor she made allowances and gave him such privileges. The anger that flowed through her seemed to lessen slightly as she saw his face. The one and only God in the heavens or hell that could calm her nerves.

Or Seven Hells as he put it, though she flung herself at him, nearly knocking him down. At times like these, she seemed to forget her strength as a goddess. She was known for her temper but there was that slim chance that she would act like the goddess of love that she was.

She was a warrior by her own right and she and Thor had fought many wars side by side. Right now she was trembling with the anger that consumed her. She knew that Thor would feel that as well as she cling to him.

She did have a softer side and this was probably the first time that Thor had seen it. Though she wasn't crying, she was angry so when she spoke it was out of frustration.

"Baldr and Loki are worse than children. They thought that they could convince me that Baldr was the one to take your father's place as king. I told them no and then Loki suggested that I would be Baldr's queen and I said no again so Loki suggested that Baldr take matters into his own hands.....and by hell if he puckers up like that again, I will do more than just break that bastard's nose."

She spoke angrily and fast before she paused to catch her breath. After pausing and putting her head against Thor's chest, she sighed.

"Loki and Baldr are trying to get Baldr onto you throne and I damn well am not going to take that lying down. You are the rightful ruler to Odin's throne. You are the rightful heir to the throne." She took a deep breath as she tried to calm herself down. "I am sorry....I just....UGH!"
