Thor can feel his lower jaw slowly beginning a trek downward as he realizes the depth of what Lady Sif is saying to him. He cannot believe his ears, which must be obvious to Sif as she gazes into his eyes now.

He stares into her beautiful eyes for a moment before he decides she is completely serious in her words to him. He lets out a deep breath as he realizes that he can relax now since she feels for him what he feels for her.

A slow smile edges itself across his facial features as he closes his lower jaw quickly with a soft snap. He keeps a hand cupping Sif's cheek as he pulls her yet closer almost to the point where their bodies are touching.

He bends down until their foreheads are touching before he speaks to her in a quiet tone of voice. "You are in luck, my lady, for I feel the same way for you. How did you know what I am feeling for you? Is it that obvious to you?"

He tries to keep a soothing lilt to his deep voice to make sure Sif does not feel anxiety over a single thing after creating a revelation like the one she just did. He knows how it feels to feel the sense of anxiety bubbling in your gut like Lady Sif had just experienced seconds before.

He does not want her to feel any worse than he feels she already may, especially if he had rejected her in some way. He does not want to think about ever rejecting her since his heart would not allow for such ridiculousness.

It is as though his mind wouldn't allow him to think those thoughts either since it forcibly pushes the thoughts out of his mind once and for all. He doesn't mind that action either since he does not relish the thought of the darkness that had wanted to slip its way into his mind.

He does not want to think about having any sort of life without Sif since the two of them had spent so much time together. What sort of life could he even have without his best friend by his side?

It would seem that the fates have decided for them to have a different relationship than what they are used to but he finds that he does not mind that thought either. Thor doesn't mind that thought at all, it would seem.

She is gorgeous and loving toward him already so there is not much for him to get used to, right?

When Thor reveals his own secret to her, Sif blushes for the first time in her life. At least they are alone and only Thor will ever witness this reaction from her in such an intimate moment as this. Her own smile is soft and warm, another thing that she will reserve only for him.

She was a the goddess of war and it would not do for others to see the softer side of her when she is strong and powerful just as Thor is. Thor knows what is in her heart and that is all that matters at this point.

She lifts her arms to wrap them around his neck and tilts her head slightly. Suddenly she is not feeling shy in the least and she stands on tiptoes to steal her first kiss from the god that she loves.

Pressing her lips to his, she closes her eyes to fully concentrate on the moment. She had never done anything as bold as this before and the kiss that Baldr ried to steal earlier earned him a broken nose.

Thor would never feel that type of wrath from her and she would make sure of that fact. When she pulled back from the kiss, there were stars in her eyes and they were shining. She didn't step back as he held her close in a warm embrace, but she smiled at him.

"Forgive me, but I couldn't resist stealing a kiss from the king of Asgard. A kiss that I quite enjoyed actually." She still had her arms around his neck and felt like she was floating on air. Which she very well could be if Thor decided to lift her petite form off the ground.
