Chapter 9. Just say yes!

"Hey Anna is coming over" I said to Brian and he was watching TV.

"I don't know who that is" he said. "Just a friend" I said and went to ten kitchen.

I got a water and I a note on the counter. "Brian come over here.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I want you to read to it" I said handing the note to him "it's from mom" I said as he took the note with concern.

"Wait is this a pair of chores for me?!" He asked. "Yup just for you have fun!" I said and left.

The door bell rang and Anna was there.

"Heyy" she said and went inside.
"Hey, that's Brian my brother, Brian this is Katie" I say.

"Hey" he said as he walked by us with a trash bag.

"Chores?" Anna asked and I just nodded. "Let's go to my room" I said.

"So whats going on?" I said and sat down on my bed. "Well...Evan asked me to the dance!" She said.

"What thats all you wanted to tell me?!" I said "yeah but I didn't know if I should yes or no" she said and started pacing around.

"Why didn't you say yes?!" I asked.

"Maybe he might just be playing around or tricking me and if I said yes I would embarrass myself" she said.

She's lucky to had have me.

"Okay, so heres what you're going to do ready" I said and she nod.

"Step one thank him for asking you to the dance, step two tell him sorry for not having the answer right away, and step three say yes!" I said.

"What If he already asked someone else!" She said and seemed nervous.

"He asked you to the dance cause he likes you just say yes!" I shouted "yeah, your right" she said I know I am.

"Good that's taken care of" I said wig a relief.

"So are you going with Adam?" Anna asked I didn't really think of that and he hasn't ask me but I hope he does. "No...not yet? I don't know" i said and sighed.

"Don't worry he will I mean you guys kissed.." she said "yeah" I said.

Anna left awhile ago and I was stuck doing homework. "Hey Alice you wanna go hang" Brian said and came in my room.

"Um I'm doing homework" I said with out looking at him.

"Aw come on I'm bored" he said like a little boy, I was almost done with homework anyway so what the heck.

"Fine let's go" I said. "Sweet" he said we both headed outside and went in my car.

"So where are we going?" I asked him "somewhere fun." I also didn't notice he had on a uniform.

Weirdo.

"Why are you wearing that?" I asked.

"I need this so I can play" he said "you need a uniform to play a game?" I asked.

"I guess you can say that" he said.

It took forever to get to our destination.
"Where are we" I said and got out of the car.

"You'll find out!" He said and tossed me my keys.

We both end tin this roundish building and brain went toward the lady behind a desk.

They both talked she looked over her shoulder to see me and then she nodded.

"Okay, Alice just follow her" Brian said and left I saw some horses as I was passing windows.

Maybe we're going on horse back riding?

"Here you go" the lady said and handed me a uniform just like Brian's.

"Um thanks?" I said and changed.

once I got out she was  waiting for me "okay let's get you ready for the game" she said.

  "All get you a horse" she added as she left.

"Wait what game?" I asked while following her "why a polo game" she said.

Polo? Oh my god Brian if I fall off a horse I will kill you.
