Chapter 17.

"Noah"

Just me saying his name, almost got me to lose my balance. 

There in front of me stood the boy who I shared half of my life loving him and who took half of my life to forget about.

"Alice come on! Don't worry I'm right here and if you drown all be your life guard" Noah shouted as he swam in the water.

Don't get me wrong I would love Noah to kiss me back to life if I drown, but I've never jumped off a clif especially one this high up.

"Allison come...please?" He said with his pouty face. He knows I always fall for that face, so I had no chance at competing with him.

"Ugh fine move out the way!" I shouted. I walked behind me, then ran and closed my eyes feeling the rush hit me.

I splashed into the water and I could hear Noah laughing and clapping.

I swam up to find him swimming to me, "see that wasn't hard" he said with a smirk.

"Uh huh" I said as I grabbed on to his shoulders. "So why don't you pretend to drown next time so I can do CPR on you"

"You wish" I said with a smile and leaned in. No CPR needed here.

I snapped back into reality hoping my eyes were just hallucinating from the gloomy weather but they weren't.

"Allison? Is it really you" Is all he said with a soft smile and hugged me. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know how to feel at this moment.

He noticed I wasn't hugging him back so he let go. He looked at me confuse but I was as confuse as he was.

"Noah? What?- I gotta go" I said as I grabbed Luna and ran. Thanks to Luna I didn't stop she loves running.

But I forgot Noah was a star at running, he was on cross country team. He easily catch up to me and stood in front of me.

"Allison wait!" He said, I tried moving away but he grabbed on to my shoulders.

I can't run that fast so why give it a chance? I had to stop.

"Noah?! What are you doing here?!" I said as I covered my eyes. I didn't want to see him, hear him, or love him again.

I don't want anymore problems from the past. Especially him. "I moved here" he said and let go of my shoulders.

"Don't run away from me please" he said and I didn't, he took my hands off my eyes and I could his face clearly.

His wild green eyes, fair skin, soft lips, and dirty blonde hair. Just like the way I left him he looked the same.

He hold onto my hands to try to clam me, it wasn't working well I was still a bit unsteady and my mind was racing away.

"Allison, calm down I'm not gonna hurt you" he said with a laugh. I did as he told me but I moved my hands away.

I forgot about Luna but she just sat there licking at Noah's shoes. She loved Noah he would always bring her treats.

"Here" Noah said as he gave me her leash. I took it without saying a word, and looked at him.

I wasn't smiling or was Mad.

I was just emotionless. "Allison please say some thing, your killing me here" he said putting his hands on top of his head.

"Why? Why are you - how are you here. Noah why are you doing this to me" I said but this with a bit of laugh and a shaky voice.

"My dad got the promotion he needed and had to be relocated here, my mom also wanted me to have a fresh start after what happen..." He said looking at the ground.

"Ah..." I said looking at the ground as well. "You look great by the way" he said with a sweet smile. To top it off his dimples got even more cuter.

I took a deep breath and told myself to stop what I think of him right now.

"Where do you live?" I asked staring at him hoping his answer wouldn't be my street or near it.

He told me the answer I didn't want to hear. Why of all the houses in the world and streets it had to be mine...again.

"I gotta go." I said as I started walking, making each step go faster. As for Luna she was my guide to not crashing into anything.

I could hear him shout my name, it was cut off when a bunch of cyclists passed between us.

"Why now?" Is what I asked myself as I started walking at my normal pace knowing I lost Noah.

I got home as quick as I could, he mentioned he lived in a simple creamy brown house. Which I instantly knew was own by a family who moved two years ago.

The house was about five houses from mine. Far but still close for my pleasure I guess.

At this point all I did was go straight to my room and didn't know what to do. My friends here don't know about him or me from the past.

I told them I just moved here because of a job for my parents.

That's about it, didn't tell them about Noah and our relationship back then.

I want to tell someone so they could reassure me nothing will happen and to just stay strong but couldn't just tell them straight away.

I would have to face this problem by myself for now...at least till school starts on Monday.

"Your phone is ringing!" I heard Brain call out as he passed by my door.

"Oh" I said as I answered the call.

"Hey Anna"
