Chapter 16. Sucker.

Friday was a complete mistake and a blur. I didn't talk to Adam at all. Cody was gone as well so he wasn't there to distract me from my thoughts.

Anna and Katie tried to cheer me up and it would work sometimes. Nick was still with Mindy so he didn't know. As for Jessica she was happy that I was miserable.

To make it worst it's been raining all this week and it keeps putting me in a sad stage.

I woke up to find rain outside!

No shock there. No blue skies or white fluffy clouds nothing but grey skies haunting me.

I got up and changed into some jeans and a long sleeve, I sat down on my bay window seat to see the rain.

It was kinda calming.

"Hey Alice" I heard Brian from behind my door. "Can I come in?"

"Yup, what's up?" I asked and he sat down on my bed.  "What's up? What's up with you" he asked.

I didn't respond I just continued looking out the window. Watched as each drop would race each other with one another. Well that's what I saw of it when I was smaller.

"What happen last week? You've been acting super down and well sad" he said.

"Mom told me you went to a party last Friday" he added. "Yeah, didn't end well" I said.

"What happen?" He asked and looked at me. "My doubts were right" is all I could say.

"Alice, your not listening to them right?" Brian said and sat next to me.

"Alice come on, you don't wanna go back to therapy after what happen with Noa-"

I glared at Adam so he could rethink what he was about to say. "After what...happen last time."

"I'm sorry Adam it's just some boy, I promise all get over him and don't worry I won't go back in past..." I said and looked at him with a soft smile.

"Good...also your turn to walk Luna at the park!" He said and threw me her leash and ran.

"Adam!" I yelled and laughed. "Haha sucker!" I heard him yell out as he left.

It was 7:23 in the morning and I had to take Luna on a walk in this kind of condition?

"Alright Luna let's go".

I put the leash on her. She was super excited to go on this walk and I was kinda looking forward to it.

Got me to relax.

I went outside and the rain seem stop but the grey skies didn't they stayed the same.

The park was really relaxing not many people were out and if there were people out it was mostly the runners.

"I mean Cody was right, I'm afraid to get into a new relationship I'm scared its gonna end in bad terms...nah that's crazy " I said as I looked at Luna.

We both took a break and sat down on a hill of grass. "Then again I'm the one talking to a dog" I said and laid down.

A bit of the blue sky was coming back but in little patches. "I don't know anymore, boys always cause me trouble."

I closed my eyes and all I could hear was the air brush against leaves. Some birds chirping and Luna barking from a distance.

"Wait Luna!"

I stood up to find her running away, I forgot to hold onto her leash! I lost her for a moment but luckily I could hear her barking.

"Gosh if I can't even take care of one dog how am I gonna take care of myself?!" I said to myself as I ran toward the sound of her.

"Luna!" I shouted and finally got closer to her. I heard a voice talking to her didn't really recognize the voice so guessing a stranger found her.

I turned a corner where there was an open space surround with trees around it. There I saw Luna sitting down and barking at the person?

I couldn't see the person but I felt so bad! Oh my gosh this is gonna be embarrassing!

"I'm so sorry!" I said as I came from behind the person and grabbed Luna's leashed.

All she did was bark but wagged her tailed as well, and she never does...at least not to strangers.

"I'm so sorry aga-" i stopped midway of my sentence. To see a face that took half of my life to forget.

"Noah."
