The door had shut behind Nora without any form of goodbye, leaving me with a sobbing Julie on my shoulder. I stayed still for a few minuets whilst she began to calm down. slowing the tears into quiet dainty hiccups.I racked my brain for something, anything! something that would cheer Julie up. the answer hit me like a smack in the face.

"Hey, you know what we should do?" I whispered, she looked up at me red eyed and blotchy and shrugged in response.

"Hey if I'm n-not allowed to shrug neither are you." Julie giggled slightly at my remark and sat up.

"You need to teach me how to dance." I smiled at her, one eyebrow raised and rather confused she answered me. "why would you want to do that, I mean, why?" she was clearly taken aback by my request I just smiled again.

"If my very small mem-ory knows anything, it's that guys ne-eed to know how to dance." I think this May have been more of a romantic request if my stutter didn't get in the way. Julie looked at me for a few moments more then stood up.

"Up you get then." she said with a smile .I did as I was told.

"Your right though." Julie said

"my mum taught me how to dance when I was little, she had said 'even in a dying world, the arts are important'" I smiled at Julie she had already become more talkative, that was good. right?

"Okay, hold my hand here and put your other hand on my waist." I did as instructed and in doing so Julie placed her hand on my shoulder. I had a feeling from the start that I'd be terrible at this, but if it cheered Julie up.

"Right for this you out your left foot first and I my right and you just step forward while I step back, okay?" I looked down at my feet and nodded sure I can step forward. I think. we attempt the steps with some success, within a few minuets were waltzing around the living room laugh thing and joking.

"That was easier than I thought." I exclaimed with a smile at Julie she raised her eyebrows and spoke.

"They were just the beginning steps, now we have to add in a spin." I'm not sure but maybe in my past life I had danced before. maybe I had been some top notch dancer who entertained at party's? it would explain the tie, not the hoodie though. However whatever the reason, some how I knew exactly what Julie meant and spun jet around my arm effortlessly, pulling her to me by the the waist after. she looked up at me with those eyes of hers, some deep meaningful look before standing on tip toes and planting a tender kiss on my lips. the kiss was sweet at first, her lips moving gently across mine. but then Julie pulled at my tie and crushed her lips down against mine with a fiery passion I had never felt. the kiss felt like scant seconds, but must have lasted minuets because when Julie pulled away our breathing was ragged, fervent ,and uneven.

"You really know how to cheer a girl up R don't you" Julie giggled between pants of breath.

"Apparently so." I said, me to fighting my burning lungs, my breathing was worse than Julie's, I haven't been using my lungs as long as her.
