Naegi!

It's okay (Y/N)! I won't hurt myself!

Dammit Naegi you're the clumsiest person I know. Please, don't go near the monitors!

But I have to! I have to avenge Kyoko-san's death!

Everytime it's Kyoko-san this and Kyoko-san that.

O-okay. Stay safe.

So Naegi stayed near the monitors to prove Kyoko's theory. I stayed near him, so he wouldn't hurt himself. Well, I mean he was tied up and all but, I wanted to be safe.

My eyes slowly closed as the timw limit came.

ARGHHHHHHH

K-KYOKO

WHYYYYY

I woke up to those sounds and found Naegi in a trance. He was reaching for a knife that magicallly appeared. I got the knife and broke it in two. I threw it away and tended to Naegi.

Naegi! Naegi!

And suddenly, his eyes went back to its normal state and I sighed.

He looked at me and frowned.

(Y/N)! I'm sorry you had to see that.

I hugged him and silent tears flowed down my eyes

~¤~

Munakata was wrong.

Naegi's hope was correct.

Right?

Little did I know that I was falling slowly to despair. That animator friend of Kyoko-san! It was his damned videos that made Chisa fall to despair. And me? I-I wasn't strong. After all, how could the SHSL Cardiologist help in a battle at all?

I cried as I watched him brainwash innocent people into following his orders. And I couldn't do anything. Nothing.

I sat in the corner and tended to Aoi's minor wounds. Hasn't Naegi finished fighting Munakata yet?

I soon was answered when Makoto came limping towards me.

It was peaceful. How could it be peaceful in a war? Oh, but it was.
Until those soldiers came.

Makoto fought them. Hitting them with anything he saw. He was wonderful. He was fighting.

He was finally the strong guy I knew from Hope's Peak.

Not the guy who convinced himself to do stuff.

Even if Kyoko was the reason for Naegi's strength, I was glad.

C'mon (Y/N)! Help me! Have faith in yourself. You're not as weak as you think.

I smiled and helped him. Together, we defeated the soldiers.

When we finally arrived outside the building, there were more soldiers waiting for us.

And he took matters into his own hands.

I saw blood.

Blood.

Gallons of the stuff.

But where was Naegi?

He down to the last soldier. Then he blacked out.

Togami's soldiers came and fetched Naegi.

Togami spoke to Naegi.

Naegi don't die on us now you stupid boy.

And I found those words endearing, coming from Togami.

Soon, we were at the hospital. And I saw a girl that I recognized from the 77th class, tending to Kyoko, giving her antidotes. I thought she was dead. As the dark haired girl let Kyoko drink the last antidote on her tray, she woke up, gasping for air. I smiled. Naegi would be happy.

Kyoko made eye contact with me and gave me a smile.

I soon found Naegi's room and opened the door.

Naegi!

(Y/N)! I'm so glad you're alive.

He hugged me and looked up to me. He kissed me and I looked at him.

I-I don't know what to say.

Tell me that everything's okay.

Then everything's okay. I-I saw Kyoko. She's alive

Naegi smiled at me and kissed me again.

That's great (Y/N). I'm so glad you're alive too.

Didn't you love Kyoko?

Yes. As a friend. She was a very close friend. But you're the reason why I'm still full of hope.

I cried tears of happiness and he kissed me the third time that day.

After all (Y/N), I'm just a white blood cell, fighting like hell for you.
