Chapter 6: Phil...

Phil's POV

"OMG it's a... Lion!" I exclaimed and picked the cub out of the box.

"That makes sense 'the lion spirit animal represents courage, strength in overcoming difficulties.' That's true because finding Dan will be difficult... What are you going to call him?"

"Lion!"

"Yes Phil it is a lion," PJ stated in a 'duh' tone.

"No I want to call it Lion,"

"Like your toy lion from your videos!" Phoebe exclaimed excitedly.

I spent the next hour playing with Lion and laughing when he fell over or stuck his tongue out. I loved having a distraction from waiting for Dan even though he was still on my mind...

"PJ, I forgot to ask... When you said futures what did you mean?" I asked PJ and he turned to me.

"In hell you get to choose either Werewolf, Vampire or Demon through a few tests. The last test consists of 3 pictures; one of if you choose Werewolf, One of if you choose Vampire and one if you choose Demon. The future will come true but you may be able to change it slightly. When Chris chose Vampire he didn't know that he would eventually find me..." PJ explained and I smiled at him.

"So Dan has a choice? That means that his future might not have me in it?" My smile faded when PJ and Phoebe nodded.

If Dan chooses a future that doesn't have me in it, I'll never see him again. He has to choose between me or someone else. I wonder what his choices are?...
"What were Dan's choices?" I asked curiously.

Phoebe shrugged and looked at PJ that looked at me.
"You really want to know?" He asked seriously.

"Why wouldn't I?"

"You might go to war with yourself wondering what he chose and slowly go mad. It's a dangerous thing to know Phil. You need to know that whatever Dan chooses it has a catch. It may seem selfish to you but it is alot of pressure on Dan..." PJ explained and I nodded at him.

Heaven and Hell was more confusing than teaching your parents how to use an iPhone! All of these futures and spirit animals and monsters. Life or death situations seem to be a common thing aswell...

"Obviously Dan's choices are Werewolf, Vampire or Demon, but each comes with a different future..." Phoebe stated.

"What are they? How do we find out? What if I'm not in any? What if he doesn't find me? What if-" I started panicking at this point.

"Calm down! Okay, so the werewolf choice is this picture..." PJ said and handed me a picture of 2 wolves running through a forest. One was white and the other was brown, I'm guessing that's Dan... But who is the white wolf?
"This is the Vampire choice..." He handed me a picture of Me, Dan, PJ and someone I'm guessing is Chris. This seems like a happy future but what's the catch?
"And this happy memory is if Dan chooses Demon..." PJ said sarcastically before handing me a picture. It was a picture of me and Dan holding hands in a dark room. What was the catch in this one?

"I'm confused..." I started.

"Phil... you know Charlie, that girl you met before?" Phoebe asked and I nodded not knowing what to expect.
"She is the white wolf, She isn't in the second future and She is the one that dies if Dan chooses demon."

"What do you mean she's the white wolf? What do you mean she isn't in the second future? How does she die?!" I exclaimed getting frustrated with all of this.

"If Dan chooses werewolf it's just her and Dan in there own pack, she isn't in the second one because she isn't a vampire and she dies in the demon one because you and Dan get brainwashed into killing Charlie after Chris leaves her for PJ. Charlie is alone and I know she hopes that Dan chooses werewolf but what she said is true. She will help Dan find you no matter the sacrifice." Phoebe said and I nodded in understanding.

"Why is Charlie's life going to change so much on Dan's choice?" I exclaimed feeling frustrated, rubbing the back of my neck.

Phoebe and PJ shared a look of fear and shock before looking back at me.
"Phil..." PJ started and placed a hand on my shoulder.

"No! Don't tell me to calm down, I need to know why this random person that I've never met is associated with our life! Tell me why she's-"

"PHIL!" PJ shouted and gripped both of my shoulders, he looked angry. I stared at him and realised that I had been angry over nothing. As I calmed down PJ let go of my shoulders.
"Phil, Charlie is the person responsible for you and Dan being here..."

"What do you mean?"

"Charlie is the reason you and Dan are dead." PJ finished and looked at me sadly.
