Dan's POV

"Phil?" I called, walking down stairs. I had finally found the confidence to tell Phil how I feel about him. As soon as I woke up, I wanted to crash my lips into his. Spotting him in the kitchen with his back facing me, I walked behind him.

"Phil, I... " Then I realized he was on the phone. I sat on the counter and listened in.

Phil noticed me and put the phone on speaker with a terrified expression;

"If you boys have had any pent up emotions or last words before the bomb goes off... Say them now because this is your last chance..."

The man's voice rang through my mind. I was shocked that this was happening, this would usually happen in fanfiction not in real life! But if it is a fanfiction then I'll make it one!

Phil pulled me into the tightest hug and I hugged back. He started whimpering into my chest and I picked him up, sitting him on the counter. I put my hands on either side of him and stared into his glassy eyes that used to be the brightest blue.

"Phil... If this is true, we don't have much time left. I've had pent up emotions and only today have I found the confidence to tell you... Phil, I love you with all my heart and not in a platonic way! I love your bright blue eyes, the way your tongue sticks out when you smile and your smooth black hair. I can't live without you."

I put my hands on his cheeks and smashed my lips into his. He kissed back almost instantly and I was the happiest person in the world.

It was just me and Phil now, no matter if we were going to die. Then I realized that we had been kissing for a few minutes now and no bomb had went off.

Phil pulled away and I sighed happily.
"Dan... Wait! What happened to the bomb?! We're still alive! Dan we're okay!" He screamed and jumped onto me, wrapping his legs around my waist.

"Phil?" I asked and he hummed into my neck.
"What happens now?"

Without another word Phil pressed his lips to mine. I held him close, our lips moving in sync.

-1 year later-

"Phil?" As I called down the stairs, I felt a weird deja vu feeling.

Fear ran through my body when I saw Phil, in the kitchen, on the phone. Walking in, I wrapped my arms around Phil and listened.

"I'm sure you two have had fun over the year, not worried about any bombs but it's over now. Have your last kiss, hold hands and say your goodbyes. Clocks ticking.
30...

Phil dropped the phone and instantly grabbed my face and kissed me. Feeling the usual sparks I kissed back. Until Phil sniffed and pulled away starting to cry.

He picked the phone back up and put in on speaker.
"20...
19...
18...

I grabbed both sides of Phil's face, wiping away the tears and then holding his hands.

"I wish that we didn't have to end it like this. I wanted to marry you Phil. Continue the rest of my life with you and then continue on as Ghosts but as I always say... Death is inevitable. We are going to find out what the after life is and I'm going to find you. No matter how far away, I will find you."

"8...

"I love you, Bear." Phil held my hand and closed his eyes.

"I love you too, Lion" I braced myself and squeezed Phil's hand. Quickly I remembered and grabbed the disc, holding it close to my chest.

"2...

Times up!"
