Chapter 8: Who will love you then?

Charlie's POV

No no no no no this can't be happening! It's not true!

It is true! That's right Charlie... now that he has chose Demon, I'm back!

Stop it! I got rid of you because I know that I have love!

Not for long... Chris is going to leave with PJ while Dan gets brainwashed. Think about it, who will love you then?

We've been through this before-

Who will love you then?!

... No one...

Good girl, now wake up!

What???

Wake up Charlie!
Wake up Charlie!
"Wake up Charlie!" Dan shook my shoulders and I bolted to sit up straight.

"What- How- But-" I stuttered not being able to find the right words.

"I heard you scream 'No' loads of times and then I found you on the floor looking like you were having a nightmare. You shouted some horrible things to yourself so I woke you. What happened?" Dan asked worriedly and I realised that I must've passed out from the pain after being whipped.

I looked at Dan and tackled him in the tightest hug I've ever given. He tensed at the sudden grip but hugged back none the less.
"Anything but Demon," I whispered. I thought I felt Dan sigh but I ignored it.

"That's what this is about?" Dan chuckled nervously, I nodded into his shoulder. He held my shoulders and looked at me.
"I wouldn't have chosen Demon just to change the future..."

I just stared at him, he looked nervous somehow. I wanted to know why but I already knew. Something about his appearance was changing...
He's already chosen!

"I wouldn't have chosen Werewolf just to make you happy..."

Something about what he was saying was making me anxious.

"And I wouldn't have chosen Vampire to get away from you."

"What are you-"

"I would've chosen Demon to be alone with Phil, I would've chosen Werewolf to change the future and be with Phil, I would've chosen Vampire to stay with Phil! All of my choices would have lead me to Phil! Nothing I would've chosen could keep me from Phil!"

"I don't understand..." I stated, tilting my head to the side like a confused puppy (How ironic)

"What I'm trying to say is... no matter what I pick... I can't stay with you. It doesn't matter what I pick because it will all end the same." I pursed my lips to keep myself from crying again. I nodded and stood up, wiping my eyes.

"I'm sorry Charlie, but-" I watched as horns grew out of his head. His eyes stopped being the chocolate colour and turned into a midnight black. It was truly terrifying but I was more scared for what was coming.

I covered my open mouth with my sweaty  and took a step back with wide eyes.

It wasn't a nightmare,
It was worse.

'Chris is going to leave with PJ while Dan gets brainwashed. Think about it, who will love you then?'
The voice rang through my ears and I knew the answer,

"Nobody will..." I stated out-loud sadly and ran out of the room without another word.

Phoebe's POV

Phil stared at me in shock after I had blurted that out but right after I felt a sheer pain in my chest. I fell to the floor clutching my chest,

Phil seemed to instantly forget what I said and looked at me with worry. I held my hand up showing I was fine and he went to find Lion.

Something was wrong,
Extremely wrong,
I could feel it!

I looked through the hell files and found one from earlier today. Wow they update fast! I searched Dan's name and saw it in giant bold letters.

Demon

I read it loads of times to make sure it's true. It can't be! This can't be true!
I decided to watch what happened, grabbing the page I ripped it out.

Obviously it would grow back when I come back,

I ripped the page into little pieces and threw them into the air. Disappearing and entering a dark room, watching Charlie and Dan talk.

"No, Dan, I've lived on my own for that past 5 years, Watching all of the happy couples and that's been my own torture! You and Phil just happened to catch my eye and now you're in this mess! I'm going to help you and get you two out of the mess I caused! Choose Vampire then we can leave and find Phil quicker!" Charlie shouted and then widened her eyes, gulping loudly. Dan gave her a confused look. I held my breath, wondering how she would cover this up.

"How-" Dan started,

"You can choose by going to the corner and shouting what you choose, I don't have to come but when you choose it will hurt at first. Then we will wake up and you can join Chris..." She said nervously and looked down sadly. I let out a sharp breath and continued to watch.

Dan nodded and started towards a corner, it was only about 2 minutes away from Charlie. He stood in the corner and took a deep breath.

"MY CHOICE IS..." He stopped and I watched him contemplate things but then turned my attention to Charlie who was crying on the floor. I saw the whip hit her multiple times.

"I choose Demon!" Dan shouted and then I saw Charlie scream 'no' loads of times before passing out.

This was what I could sense, Charlie having these nightmares about Dan. It's terrible but then I watched Dan wake her up...
Blah blah blah...
Turns into a demon... Blah blah blah...
Charlie runs out crying,

Then I appeared back in heaven, feeling shocked. I walked back to PJ and sat near him.

"We need to tell Phil, you know," he said sadly, watching Phil chase Lion around.

"Yeah..." I sighed and fell backwards, wondering when Heaven got so complicated...
