Chapter 5: No matter the sacrifice...

Phil's POV

"How do we find out what my spirit animal is?" I asked Phoebe as we walked away from PJ.

I felt a slight pinch in my neck as we were walking but thought nothing of it until I felt strange. The sky went a darker blue and Phoebe grabbed my hand.
"We stop... Here!" She stopped next to a black box. Phoebe gestured for me to go in and shut the door behind me.

I walked to the middle of the black box.
There was nobody here, I kept looking around until I bumped into a pole in the middle of the black room.

I saw Dan appear on the floor, he started to wake up just next to the pole. I didn't know what to do but when I tried to touch him my hand went through him.

"Didn't think you were going to end up here without him, Did you?" I heard a man's voice, around my age. Dan sat up, leaning against the tall pole in the middle of the room.

"Where am I? Who are you? Where's Phil?" I heard Dan shout. He was scared but I couldn't comfort him.

"Calm down." A figure appeared infront of Dan as I watched. Dan backed into the pole even more as the figure walked forwards.

They clicked their fingers and light shone down on him.
He had brown hair, brown eyes and a wicked smile that showed his pointed teeth. He wore black jeans and a black cloak.
It looked like Dan's wardrobe had exploded on him because everything he was wearing was black. Besides the fact that they were both bare foot.

"Head vampire here in the realm of hell." The man stated dramatically. Dan jumped slightly when he grabbed the ends of his cloak and hissed.

"Chris! Stop showing off you twat!" A girls voice. She walked into the room.

"I can do what I want thank you! Now piss off, I want to have a chat with my new found friend!" Chris spat at the girl and grinned at Dan. I felt anger go through me.

"I could make Dan trust me by saying one thing!" The girl challenged with a smirk on her face.

How do these people know about me and Dan?

"Off you go your highness!" Chris bowed and gestured towards me. The girl growled at him. Growled?!

She walked over to Dan as he tried to edge away. She stood infront of him and held her hand out. Dan just looked at it and then back up at her.

"Dan... I know where Phil is..." The girl briefly looked at me and winked. How can she see me? This isn't even real!

The image faded and they disappeared. I was shocked...
Was that real?
Is that where Dan is?
It must be but who are they?
Was that PJ's future boyfriend?

"Phil?" I turned around and saw the girl from the image. She had an sympathetic look on her face as I just stared.
"Yes, that was real. Yes, that is where Dan is and Yes, that is PJ's future boyfriend. I'm sorry about you two being split up but I'll help Dan find you. No matter the sacrifice, I'll help him."

"How are you here? Who are you?"

"I'm real and my name is Charlie but this won't last long. Stay with PJ and I'll look after Dan. I will see you soon..." Her image started to disappear.

"Don't go! I have questions!"

"Ask PJ or Phoebe... Goodbye Phil, I'll stay with you..." Her image faded into a ball of light that swiftly turned into a box that fell to the ground.

I walked over and picked it up. It seemed to be locked so I shrugged and headed for the door. Pushing it open I saw Phoebe on the opposite wall. She looked at me and smiled.

"Let's go find PJ!" she exclaimed happily and grabbed my hand.

"Phoebe... Do you know Charlie?"

Phoebe stopped and looked at me.
"Yeah... She was best friends with my sister and so we became friends before..." she trailed off looking away from me.

"Before what?"

"I don't want to say... But to cut the story short, she died and then Charlie killed herself." Phoebe spoke slowly and sadly.

"Oh, sorry I asked..."

"It's okay... What was your simulation?"

"Dan when he wakes up in a room with a boy called Chris and a girl called Charlie."

"That must've been when he first woke up in hell but who's Chris?"

"PJ's future boyfriend..." I mumbled and her face lit up. We both laughed and continued to walk.

Me and Phoebe found PJ sat on a bench just looking into the distance.
"What you doing?" Phoebe asked.

"Waiting..."

"For what?" I asked him.

"Not for what... For who,"

"PJ are you still worried about not getting your boyfriend?" Charlie asked sadly. Hugging PJ from the side.
PJ nodded sadly and I smiled.

"PJ... Did you know that I've seen your boyfriend and know his name?" PJ looked at me with wide eyes.
"And that he is coming with Dan to find me?..."

"Really?! What's his name?"
"Chris,"
"Is he nice?"
"Lovely,"
"Is he cute?"
"Adorable,"

"I'm so happy now you will not believe! AHHHHH! SO HAPPY!" PJ screamed and me and Phoebe laughed.

When PJ had calmed down I showed him the box. PJ examined it and then gave it back to me.
"This will open to the power of courage..."

"What do you mean?"

"Your spirit animal has something to do with courage..." PJ explained.

"So I have to do something brave?" I asked and PJ nodded.

"Time to face your fears Phil!" Phoebe exclaimed.

I turned around and stared in shock at the scene infront of me. There was a cat in the middle of a road and cars were closing in on it.

I ran towards the road, sliding under a car as it sped over me. Grabbing the cat quickly I jumped to the side when a bike went past. Then I carried the cat to the girl looking shocked at the side and handed her the cat.

"Phil! It's opening!" PJ shouted and I walked over to him, box in hand.

The lid opened slightly and the creature popped it's head out.
"Awww..." Phoebe said.

"OMG it's a......."
