Dan's POV
"Dan? Is it really you?" she asked looking into my normal brown eyes.
"I think so..." I said looking down at myself and then at her.
"Is the demon still in you or has it gone?" Phoebe asked me and I looked at her.
"It's not in me." I stated and she looked in horror at something behind me.
Charlie was huddled on the floor shaking with her eyes wide staring at nothing. She was clinging to her legs as her face stayed emotionless.
"Charlie?" I asked carefully walking over.
"Suicide." was all she said as she continued to look into the distance.
The demon had took over Charlie. Was it going to drive her to suicide?
"Kill myself?" Charlie whispered to herself and I crouched next to her.
"What going on?" I asked nobody in particular and turned around to see nobody there.
Phoebe had disappeared and so had Phil. It was just me and Charlie. I began to panic at the loss of Phil. I didn't know where he was.
I turned back to Charlie to see her staring right at me. Her eyes were still normal as shaky hands pulled at her hair.
"Kill me Dan." she stated and I shook my head as my breathing became raged. She grabbed both of my hands.
"Listen to me Dan. You'll see Phil, Chris and PJ again. All you have to do is kill me."
"I-I can't do it." I stuttered staring at her with disbelief.
"Calm down Dan. When you wake just look at the paper I gave you and everything will make sense. Just. Kill. Me." Charlie instructed and I slowly nodded.
She gave me one last smile and I smiled back. Charlie hugged me as tears spilled from her eyes, I hugged back tightly.
"It's going to be over Dan." She whispered and I nodded.
"Finally."
Charlie lay on the floor and handed me a knife. I grabbed it shakily and she tensed as I raised it. A single tear ran down my face and I closed my eyes before stabbing the knife into her chest.
I opened my eyes as her figure disappeared and more tears spilled my eyes.
"It's finally over."
Short chapter but the last chapter is going to be extra long considering all the explaining.
