Today was the day everybody was anticipating. To be quite honest, I don't know if I can be happier. Sometimes happiness just finds you. And today, happiness found me.

"I swear Sarah, hurry up! You are honestly the slowest person." Zoe exclaimed as she entered the private room where Sarah and I were getting ready for the wedding. It was true though, Sarah needed everything to be perfect before she would let the wedding begin, it was just how she was. It was part of her, but it was annoying to the ends of the world.

"You know what, Zoe? You only get married once, and everything needs to be perfect! Now Ava sit down so we can finish what we started." Zoe laughs and leaves the room. I quickly oblige the frustrated bride, as I don't want to get on her bad side today. For some reason, Sarah thought I was good at fixing hair, and had appointed me as the last minute hair dresser. She wanted it simple, yet exquisite — her exact words — and here I was neatly placing her curled hair into the perfect up-do.

"Actually, you can get married more than once, Sarah" I whispered to her. She rolled her eyes, and went back to her worried look that she had been holding all morning. "Hey, don't be worried. Today, is going to be great. Do you love Nathan?" She slowly nodded her head. "And he is madly in love with you. So don't worry, okay? Tonight is going to be a blast."

That seemed to ease the worry out of her face. "You don't think I got married too early, did I? I mean I am only 23..." She asked. I rolled my eyes.

"You do realize I got married a year ago, right?" I turned her chair so she could look at me. "Life is going to keep moving like a sailboat, Sarah. So just go for the ride." She smiled.

"Wow, Ava Jacobs, you're actually saying philosophical things now?" She checked the clock hanging on the white wall. "Stop getting distracted! Is my hair done?" I did a few touch ups before spraying the whole thing with hairspray.

"Now let's get you into this wedding gown. We have a wedding to attend to." I retrieved the gown lying peacefully on the velvet couch. To say Sarah dress was gorgeous, was an understatement. Sarah, Zoe and I had all gone to shop for the dress, and the look Sarah had when she saw it was priceless. She was instantly in love.

I hand Sarah her wedding dress so that she can slip into it. I zip the dress up and marvel at how wonderful she looks in it. The dress was easily made for her. The bodice has intricate lace designs that hugged her body snuggly, while the rest of the dress, was silk that flowed all the way to the floor. I retrieved her shoes and she quickly slipped them on. She turns to me.

"How do I look?" She says.

"You look amazing. I don't know how Nathan is going to last the whole night." I laugh and she joins me. We finally make our way to the ceremony hall, where all the guests are already seated. Nathan is already at the front of the alter and I find Ryder waiting for me, so that we could go down the aisle.

"Hey, babe." He kisses me when I am in front of him. "You ready to do this."

"Yup. Let's get this young couple married." I say laughing. He laughs as well and kisses me.

A few minutes pass, and the wedding music starts playing, signalling for everyone to rise. Nathan is waiting patiently at the front of the chapel, as the flower girl and ring bearer walk down. As Ryder and I are the best and and maid of honour, we are next to walk down. We take our place on each side of Nathan and wait patiently for eerybody to walk down.

As soon as Sarah starts walking down the aisle, Nathan's jaw drops. And I think mine did too. As she walks with her father, she looks exquisite. Her dress fits perfectly, and her hair looks amazing. Honestly, I'm a bit jealous myself.

She finally makes it to the front and holds Nathan's hand. She smiles at him widely, and the priest begins the wedding ceremony.

The vows, the kiss and everything about the ceremony was amazing and I am so glad Sarah finally got married. She and Nathan had really kicked it off since graduation and they spent every waking moment together. It was quite toxic.

Watching their wedding, reminded me when Ryder and I had gotten married less than a year ago. Although we were only 22 at the time, Ryder wanted to start our lives as soon as possible. He told me that walking next door to see me everyday was too far, and that he would rather we shared an apartment and settle together.

Our parents of course were thrilled. My mother had immediately gone scavenging for apartments. Ryder and I found an apartment close to our parents house, and perfect for us. It was a small apartment, but it had beautiful large windows, that allowed sunlight to stream in. It had two bedrooms, our master bed room and a baby room. A room, in which we had recently started decorating.

My baby bump was getting larger each week, and Ryder was even more ecstatic than I was. He wanted to name the baby Jack if it was a boy or Isabelle if it was a girl. I didn't yet tell him, the gender, but baby Isabelle was on her way.

Ryder was very supportive of my pregnancy. I was always worried that I looked odd and too fat, but Ryder just cherished me, telling me that I looked as gorgeous as ever. He was also very protective. He insisted that I rest all the time, even though I was only six months in.

"What are you thinking about, babe?" Ryder asks me, interrupting my train of thought.  Ever since we started dating, Ryder started calling me babe, and it had just stuck.

I rubbed my belly, and smiled at him. "Just about us. Our future." He smiles at me and gives me a kiss on the lips.

"Come on, let's go hit the dance floor." He takes my hand and urges me ti dance.

The song is upbeat, and Ryder dances around me funnily. He easily makes me laugh and join in on the fun.

And as he spins me around and around, I can't help but realize that the future for Ryder and I will be perfect.
