Chapter 6

P.O.V. Jade

It's been about a month or two since I was put on a team with my brother Sapphire, some faunas named Epsilon Argonaut who happens to be the leader of our team, and his little sister Carolina who I think is pretty cute. So far we've made friends with team RWBY which wasn't so hard since Carolina and Epsilon are childhood friends with their leader Ruby and her older sister Yang who happens to be the girlfriend of our leader Epsilon who not gonna lie is quite the hunk and he's an amazing fighter. Anyways we've also made friends with team JNPR who consists of leader Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren, and celebrity Pyrrha Nikos; and team CFVY who consists of leader Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, and Yatsuhashi Daichi. Anyways tomorrow we go off on our first mission and team RWBY said they were gonna go look for some hidden White Fang base so Ozpin told Epsilon we have to go with them for backup. But for now, I'm gonna try to get some alone time with Carolina. I thought I was alone in our dorm but then my brother startled me when he stopped studying to talk to me.

Sapphire: Something on your mind Jade?

Jade: Umm....no. Hey do you know where Epsilon is?

Sapphire: I don't know he said something about going to the fairgrounds with Yang. He should be studying and getting ready for our mission tomorrow, not being love struck.

Jade: You know you don't always have to be so hard on him all the time. I'm sure he's perfectly fine how he is or else Ozpin would've made you leader instead of him.

Sapphire: Whatever.

Jade: Anyways, do you know where Carolina is?

Sapphire: I think she's down at Goodwitch's class training with Ruby, why?

Jade: No reason

Sapphire: Jade wa--

I didn't wait for him to respond to me, I just zipped out of the room and headed towards the training area.

Sapphire: She's my identical twin and yet I don't understand her at all. I still don't understand how we're related.

P.OV. Annabelle

I've been training with Ruby all day and it was just now starting to take it's tole on me. I landed another strike with my sai on Ruby then I collapsed down onto one knee panting while Ruby was just as tired as I was using her scythe as a crutch to hold herself up. Even though I've won every match Ruby and I have had I still feel like something is holding me back. Could it possibly be my feelings for Jade clouding my mind.

Ruby: Something's troubling you. What's on your mind Carolina?

Annabelle: Huh? Oh...Nothing I'm fine

Ruby came over and helped me up and we went down the hall to get some water.

Ruby: So who's the guy?

Annabelle: What are you talking about Ruby?

Ruby: Come on Carolina I can tell when someone has a crush on another person. So who's the guy?

Annabelle *blushing*: Well actually it's a girl....

Ruby: Hey Weiss is mine!

This took me by surprise a bit when Ruby said this. She likes girls too? I had no idea.

Annabelle: No Ruby that's not who I like believe me Weiss is all yours.

Ruby: Then who do you like?

Annabelle: I like Jade...

Ruby: Wait you mean like Jade Ivy, the girl on your team?

All I did was nod in response to her question because I was silenced by my embarrassment as I felt my face start to heat up.
