I was really looking forward today, not for any specific reason though. I just couldn't wait to get out of my crammed apartment and go explore Columbus. I heard they opened a new boutique, even though it was female clothes I was still going to look. You never know.
I pulled my pajamas off and got dressed into a white button down tucked into black skinny jeans. I pulled my black sweatshirt over it. Wait a second...I think this is Brendon's! Oh well, it looks nice.
I hop into the bathroom brushing my teeth and running my hands through my purple hair that I just dyed last night, it turned out really great actually.
I walk downstairs greeting my cat Percy.
"Don't worry Percy I won't be gone for long. Don't burn down the house." I say giggling when he rubs his head on my new Vans.I walk to the door grabbing my keys on the table, almost forgetting my wallet. "Bye Percy!" I yelled skipping out to my car.
It was beautiful outside. The sky was still painted with pretty pinks, blues, yellows and purples. A nice breeze every now and then, making leaves dance along the street. I love fall. It brings such a cheery spirit in my hometown.
I start my car finally letting my gaze come off of the sky. I pull out of the parking lot in my subdivision, looking in my rear mirror to make sure I wasn't going to hit anything.
Everything was so nice once I got into the middle of Columbus, Ohio. Small clothes stores and cafes attached to each other. Everything was so cozy. Speaking of cozy, I see a small boutique that looked really warm and welcoming. I drove my car into the small parking lot and walked inside, my hands in my pockets.
I walked inside and immediately felt warmth, letting out a sigh of relief. It was stunning in here. So many pastel colors. If I had a boyfriend I would buy him anything he wanted from here. It felt like home.
I started to stroll my way around the small boutique, tapping a drum solo on my thighs. "Can you drown me.." I singed quietly.
I went to pick up a skirt out of pure curiosity when I heard something. It sounded like, singing? It was beautiful, and getting louder until the anonymous person's voice appeared in the door frame behind the counter. I don't think he knows I'm here.
"I used to say I wanna die before I'm old but because of you I might think twice." He sang, "Yeah! Yeah! Ye- oh I didn't know anyone w-was in here!"
"I wasn't complaining. You have a absolutely stunning voice."
"Th-thank you. Can I um- help you with anything?"
"Oh I wasn't here to buy anything, I just heard that this cute boutique just opened down the street and I wanted to check it out."
"I see. Do you like it? I've spent a while trying to persuade the land owners to open this thing."
"I love it actually."
