Exactly two months, one week, four days, sixteen minutes and twenty-eight seconds later, Ruben Montgomery found his memory book.
It sat miraculously on his desk in his English Literature classroom. He was the only one inside the room then and when he spotted his earlier MIA memory book, he let out a squeal before galloping towards it.
And then he froze in his steps when he saw that his book had been read. And that someone had taken the liberty to add their words, sentences, paragraphs to his words, sentences, paragraphs.
The newly added blue ink pierced his heart like a black cross earring pierced Scar's left earlobe.
