Today I, Ruben Bywaters, almost died.
I was skipping along the road, dodging pedestrians and whatnot when out of nowhere popped my two friends and my one almost friend.
Scar, Mitchell and Kalani. And do you know what those traitors were wearing? You probably can't guess it because no one can.
Those nutheads were wearing t-shirts with my face imprinted on it and my name was written underneath it and my identity was put on show. Now you must be asking why my so called traitorous friends would walk around with my face on their bodies. The answer is simple.
They were striking. They were protesting that Parker Hood wouldn't let me on the football team. I'd much rather have them stop running around screaming 'Mercy for Montgomery' than actually be on the team.
And you know what happened then? Scar pulled out an extra t-shirt and told me to put it on. She wanted me to put on a shirt with my face on it?
So I did the most mature thing that I could possibly do.
I ran for my life and my reputation. But with Mitchells quick legs, Kalanis tricks to corner prey and Scars power to violently put anyone in anything, I found myself not even a minute later stuck in the blasted thing.
They forced me to walk around and distribute notices how we lived in a unfair world with unfair people who didn't allow others to reach our dreams. How we were stripped of our rights even though our are rights were our rights since they were written down.
Like hell I was gonna distribute those. My face was printed on each of them and I was most definitely not going to let anyone see the horrific shot Scar had taken of me in which I looked more like a sloth than a human. So I dumped them all into a trash can and when asked about it, said that all had been distributed.
And now you must be wondering why I almost died. That's because on this sunny day, the whole entire school population had decided to take a stroll in the same exact park we were in.
I think you now know what led to my almost dead.
My embarrassment.
I was there too that day. Don't worry. Your t-shirt was adorable. And so was your embarrassment:)
Holden Patch was there too and when he saw my friends protesting and calling out that 'Parker Hood must be executed' he turned to look at me and drew a line over his jugular.
Don't be surprised if this happens to be my last entry. I don't wanna know what Parker Hood is gonna do now.
fyfy, Ruben
