John-nay

Something absolutely weird happened today in school. You can't exactly call it weird. It was kind of confusing and scary because it's never happened before. I'm just gonna put this out in the open:

Carlotta Henley and Parker Hood fought in the hallway.

The IT-couple, the golden couple, the most loved couple of the school fought today for the very first time.

And I as well as a few others became the awkward witnesses of it.

I couldn't exactly pinpoint what the actual reason for the fight was but apparently Hood seems like he doesn't think that Lotta needs to know whatever he does in life.

Lotta: Park, you have to tell me. Where were you?

Parker: You don't need to bloody know, Carlotta!

Lotta: Of course I need to! You're my boyfriend, damn it.

Parker: Just leave it, Carlotta. You're making a scene.

Lotta: I am making a scene? What about yesterday night when I had to bail you out of jail for trespassing? What about yesterday when you got in a fight with punks?

Then the fight kinda got a lot more physical because Parker kinda pushed Lotta into a locker.

Parker: Keep your bloody voice down, Carlotta.

And then he turned around, glared at all of us and told us to get lost before he disappeared from the crime scene.

Like I was saying, Parker isn't my king so I don't comply to his wishes. I didn't get lost. Neither did Lotta. Everyone else did.

And then John, we were alone. Beauty and the nerd.

Me: Are you okay?

Lotta definitely did not seem okay, John. She was cowering as if she feared that Hood might come back. And then she looked up and gave me the weakest smile I have ever seen on her. And God, did that hurt me. A girl like Lotta shouldn't be hurt. No girl should.

Boys who hurt girls aren't worthy of being called a boy.

I wanted to pat her on the back and tell her that everything was going to be okay. But I didn't. Because I'm a coward.

Eventually Lotta wiped her tears and left. Eventually I wiped my running nose (I am kind of sick) and left too. Only in the opposite direction.

My mom bought a new dog. Her name is Rosie and she wears a rose colored skirt. She belongs to my mother and to my mother only.
