Chapter 13

Note: This story happens after the whole thing, therefore it means it happens when Kirito is re-defeating Aincrad with his friends.

September 1st Floor 1

The first floor was a wreck already. Kirito protected Asuna and other healers as they cast healing spells. It was really lucky they were fast, because they hadn't had time to put on any armor. In fact, they didn't have any armor that would suffice against bullets. There were mages on each side, but Kibaou had brought around 20, too many to keep up with. The frontlines were still forming, on their side. All in all, they were fending them off, but as more and more reinforcements arrived, they were slowly being overpowered. Finally Asuna frowned, and said to Kirito, "See those healers?" Asuna saw him nod in the side of her vision. Asuna nodded. They knew exactly what to do with the thirty healers on the other side.

Sinon, meanwhile was picking off enemies one by one, when she heard crunches of footstep. She sprang up, to face the Shinkawa brothers. They each pointed a pistol at her, the same exact type she had used. Sinon grabbed her glasses, twiddling it nervously. "I see you haven't changed at all, my dear, Asada-san,"Kyouji growled. Shouichi just smiled, under his Death Gun suit. Kyouji pulled the trigger, and Sinon braced for impact, when a green shape tackled Kyouji. Talken. Sinon grabbed the gun from Shiouchi, and turned it to face Death Gun, kicking him in the legs so that he fell, pinning him with her foot. He rolled over, however, and ran for it. It was too late to get the Hecate or her bow. Sinon flung off her glasses, aimed, and shot. Shiouchi fell, a few seconds later. "Shiouchi!"Kyouji cried. Sinon turned to face Kyouji, who was in an awkward half tackle by Talken. Kyouji was holding Talken around the waist, so his head dug into Talken's stomach, and Talken had a sword pointed on his back. Sinon pulled Kyouji away from Talken even though she was badly scared, and pointed a gun at his forehead.

Then, swiftly, she tilted the gun downwards just a few degrees, and shot. It hit his leg, and Sinon let go, as Kyouji collapsed, unconscious from the sudden pain. Then Sinon looked up at Talken. In his eyes was fear, shock, but mostly, wonder. He looked at her as if she were his role model. Their attention was draw away from each other, however, as two trails began to form through the chaos, clearing off more people in seconds than they had the whole battle.

Kirito drew Excalibur as Asuna flew back a few (dozen) steps. They both bent down sprinting, and as Asuna used the Flashing Penetrator, Kirito reached impossible speed, placing both swords together like during the fight in the world tree with Leafa's sword, and they plowed through the enemy, faster than any regular organism could possibly do.

As they did so, Recon and Leafa, who'd been fighting together, started getting real too. Recon activated Vaccum blades, as Leafa finished the incantation of Windneedles, making it ten times more effective, making a crater sized clear area around them, as their opponents fell. Meanwhile, Klein charged at one a row of opponents against Lisbeth, with tsujikaze, hitting quite a few, but many still stood bakc up despite their injury to make a final attempt to take down Lisbeth. Klein dropped his sword, and grabbed a curved blade from a fallen person, charging, and then leaping. What was known as the Reaver sword skill before the game became reality. All of the Sleeping Knights except Talken were also redoubling their efforts, although they couldn't quite mow down opponents without Yuuki. Many beasts surrounded Silica, taking down many opponents. Thinker, Yulier, and Agil, fought valiantly as well. Everyone else was either caught up in Kirito and Asuna's way, or watching Kirito and Asuna and their friends.

As Asuna neared her target, she flipped to a halt, but then stood up, as all the healer's eyes widened, as Kirito did the same thing, using his double sworded stance. The mages looked at them in fear, realizing the legends, the Beserk Healer with Mother's Rosario, and the Dual Bladed Beater was true. Kirito activated each sword skill at a time, right hand then left hand, only using one skill per mage, and since the mages were pretty much defenseless, close up, it was easy to win with one sword skill. He hacked at the mage right in front of him with his right sword, in using the horizontal sword skill. The second mage, he took down with a swing of his left sword using horizontal arc. Third, Kirito charged, swinging both swords, each one time, and decapitating the mage. Next, Kirito activated his rage spike on his right sword, and after hitting one of the mages, he dealt another random slash, taking the mage down. Then, Kirito activated his left hand once again, this time using sharp nail. Once again, Kirito struck with both swords. Kirito took down a seventh mage, using the slant on his right sword. Then Kirito took down an eighth with a vertical sword skill using his left hand. A ninth was taken down using the sonic leap with his right hand, and finally, Kirito jumped on the tenth mage, using both swords at the same time, with no skills, right sword going from top right to bottom left, left sword going from top left to bottom right. Asuna easily took down the ten other healers, and then behind them, was Kibaou, and General Sato. General Sato was aiming a gun at Asuna. Kirito's eyes widened, knowing the danger, and jumped in front of her, deflecting the bullet just in time, then leaped at him, activating starburst stream.

Horizontal with right sword, uppercut with left sword, jumping up, dealing slashes to the target using oth swords from left to right while spinning, twice. Then an X from top to bottom, before an X from bottom to top. Kirito leaps and deals two diagonal slashes, then reverses his grip and slashes in an x, top to bottom. Using barrel roll manuever, while slashing, and then deals two x's, top to bottom, then bottom to top. A diagonal slash with right sword, top right to bottom left, spins, and a horizontal right to left, with left sword, an uppercut with right, another one with left, spins, and repeats, thrusts right sword, and a downward lunge slash with left sword. Asuna took on Kibaou, using Star Splash. Three short thrusts, at the chest, two slashes at the legs, two strong jabs high and low, then a stab at the chest. Let's just say neither stood a chance against them.

After dealing with those two, the remianing of the enemies, were only half of what it was, and many made the mistake of charging at Kirito and Asuna. Eventually overwhelmed, and seeing that the former players were way too good in this area, even better than the dozens of hard trained militants that General Sato had brought, they started to surrender. As the battle ended, Asuna sighed. She was tired, tired that everyone seemed to be against them, tired of battling. But life was never fair around her. Kirito stepped behind Asuna, seeming to know what was about to happen, and supported her as she sagged a bit from exhaustion, before straightening back up. If he hadn't stood behind her, Asuna was pretty sure her legs would've given way. Asuna stood back up, holding Kirito's hand for support. She kissed Kirito on the cheek. "Thank you. I hoped that people, from the same place that all of us came from, would think that we really did wrong, that it was our fault that all of this was happening,"Asuna sighed. Kirito gave her a peck on the lips, a short sweet kiss. "So many things in the world are wrong. But we have each other to protect us, from those things,"Kirito answered. Everyone started to round up the remaining people alive, and Siune directed the medical efforts, as the higher ranking people with more influence, and therefore had more information crowded around Kirito and Asuna to report.
