You and I spark bright
Lights gleaming, booming, beaming
I await to feel your gaze
I catch a glimpse of your face
It's you! It's you.............
My want for you concealed
My desire for you deceived
By fears, thoughts, deceptions
My head telling me "No."
Making me fear of
Of what was never meant.......
What I never knew could be.
Never do I bore
Nor do I fatigue
As our words engage
With messages so profound.
Lust isn't enough for me
I see openness, happiness
Joy, empathy, autonomy.
I move with you
Your name chants my moves
Closeness, intimacy, curiosity
For what is ahead.
I want to know how you are.
I envisioned myself as a ruby
Competing with a diamond,
You saw my value, my worth.
My virtue, my strength.
I exude with power
With the confidence I'm blinded to.
The beauty you see
Is disguised, hidden away.
I may be a mere specimen
But you've made me your world.
You've called me your all.
I tried to hide it
I tried to disguise it
But I cannot conceal it
It...........my love for you.
Answer me these:
How do you do it?
How do you get it?
How do you seem to have
The right answer to it all?
I say something bad
You make it sound good.
You only see my good
And discard my bad.
Who would've thought
We'd be where we are?
We were so naïve
Incredibly oblivious to us............
We spark bright
We flashing, beaming.
My love for you is immense
My eternity is you
I'll keep you in my heart
Forever more.
My gold, my golden beauty.
