Taliyah POV

I live in an incredibly small town- which I love- that doesn't have much going for it. I mean it's tiny and cute and you can walk literally everywhere from anywhere because that's how small it is. It's just that there is nothing exciting that happens here.

Of course there is the often " someone got shot"
Or " my dads in the hospital" but that's really it. And because it's so small, you hear when something is going on almost immediately. Almost a day after it happens.

I continue my dreaded walk my from part time job working at the record store and take off my shoes.

I pass the woods and get a bad feeling walking passed it. My gut churns and my heart starts racing but I feel drawn towards it.

A howl comes from behind me and I turn around slowly and cautiously.

5 wolves that all have different colored furs and eyes. The most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. I mean I don't travel much but it's pretty cool compared to what else is out there.

There is a wolf in the middle that sticks out to me the most. The Alpha I'm guessing. He has to be the sexiest animal I ever seen. Now that, is my spirit animal for sure.

I walk up to them slowly and cautiously of course. Once I figured they posed as no threat, I kneeled down and pet their fur. Let me just tell you, feels amazing.

I look at all 5 of them and sigh.

" I wonder how far you've traveled."

I turn around and continue my walk home. Hopefully I'll see them tomorrow.

When I get home I take a quick shower to get all the fur off me and wrap my hair up in a bun. I grab my phone after I hear it go off.

M- I just saw 5 of the most beautiful wolves ever in the woods.

M-  calm your ass. I'm fine. It's the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me so I don't mind it.
C- T, there has never been something like that ever in your town. I've been reading about how most celebrities could be animals and that's why they're so famous.
M- Chill with the conspiracy theories girly. Anyways I gotta go to sleep. Love u bitches. Gn!

I smile at my phone before turning it off and going to sleep.

I walk home again while huffing. It's literally so hot. There is no way from escaping the heat. It's suffocating me and the outfit in wearing doesn't help either. Vintage clothing can be a bitch sometimes. I quickly whip out my phone and text my infamous group chat to distract me from the heat.

M- HEYOOOOO BITCHES!!!
A- wazaaaa gurl
C- hello
H- hi daughter! Wyd!
M- walking past the woods where I saw those wolves. I'm trying to look for them again. This heat is killing me and I need a distraction from my crazy day at work.
A- T, we know your curios and crazy but you have to be careful. They could attack u.
C- yea! And if u die I'm not paying for the funeral just saying😐
T- 😂 I'm not gonna die! They let me pet them yesterday.
T- OOOO I FOUND THEM! they don't look as friendly as they were yesterday but maybe it was just the way the moon light was hitting them that made them seem sweeter?

I took a step toward them and pet them just as I did yesterday. They were fine with it until one of them sniffed me. He took in my scent as if it was a drug and snarled at me. He was so pleased with the smell yet he was acting like I would hurt him.

H- THEY ARE WILD ANIMALS! THEY WILL HURT U! GO HOME NOW!😠
M- One is smelling me as if he loves my scent but he's also growling. I don't understand?

I slowly walk away from the raging wolves to get away from any danger that may come my way.
I start walking closer and closer to my house and turn to look back. I look around and I don't see one wolf. Maybe the heat is getting to me because I think I would've at least heard them leave.

I let out a huge breath that I was holding. As cute as they were, they were scary and dangerous. Don't know why I did that to be completely honest.

I turned back around right after turning the key into the lock. I had a feeling I was being watched. After seeing nothing I resume to opening my door when I feel a skull crushing blow to the back of my head. My face hit the floor and that was it for me. I was completely out.

*hours later*

I gasp quietly as my body flings against the seat of the car. I look around with blurry eyes and my head is pounding. I scoot myself back a bit to see what I'm working with.

I look in the passenger side and I only see the side of his face which is a very structured jawline and a very very light blonde. Almost silver. I tilt my head up a little, which strains the tape on my mouth, and see a very curly headed dude driving. His hand is gripping the steering wheel as if he's gonna loose his shit any second.

"Corbyn what are we gonna do? She isn't ready what's so ever. She has defense mechanisms and you can tell but I mean dude come one. She couldn't even take a blow to the head!?" He whisper shouted.

Well I'll be damned. I'm in a car with 2/5 of wdw. Well cut my dick off and call me jake Paul! (I'm sorry I heard it from Logan! Issa joke)

" Shut up you idiot your gonna wake her up first of all and second of all you hit her with a lamp. I could've just blinded her with my powers and you know that. You just wanted an excuse to hit someone. You better hope that she doesn't have any bruise on her head or anything cause Daniel will fuck you up. Alpha don't play." Jack just grunts.

Alpha? What did they mean by Alpha? What powers? Like super powers. I've only seen those in movies and now I'm genuinely scared.

Some voice spoke in my head. I whisper and look at the two in the front. They didn't say anything. They don't even know I'm awake.

What is going on.
