Taliyah POV

" Taliyah we need to know who you met while you were away. The baby would cry if he heard something that loud unless it was someone he was extremely comfortable with."

I sigh and comb my fingers through my hair. Trying to figure this out is so incredibly frustrating. I don't know what to do at all. I'm literally at a dead end. I don't know anyone that got enough alone time with my son to make him that comfortable. Plus, even if we do figure it out, what are we going to do about it.

" There was no one I trusted to get enough time with my son like that. I was by myself all of the time. Even if there was a person I forgot about, how would they know I live here? I was closed off. The point of me leaving was to protect you guys. Why would I jeopardize that?"

Daniel hands me coffee and I take a sip.

" It just keeps bringing up the question who is it? The griffins wouldn't leave a note. They like the element of surprise, they would just show up. It could be that a person has promised them gold blood if they followed their instructions." I nod my head agreeing to what John said.

It just makes sense. When Hailey got her vision we were exhausted but it's clear that that's changed. We didn't bank on me vanishing or having a baby. Hailey didn't see that coming so of course she wasn't going to see a leader.

Griffins have never had a leader. All of them are equally as weak. It would make sense that they would listen to someone who is quite stronger then them. It increases their chances of actually winning.

" We honestly have no clue who this person could be or where they came from. The griffins are impatient. They're not going to wait for long so we really have no time to find out who the leader is. We just have to continue training and start contacting our allies."

We all dispersed and I decided to walk over to Julians room. Daniel trusts me enough now but not when it comes to Julian. He came with me just to make sure everything would be ok.
I knock on the door and hear Julian grunt.

" Hey Julian whats up?" He smiles and stands up to walk towards me. Daniel growls with his arms crossed and Julian hesitates. I smack Daniel in the chest and scowl.

I walk over to Julian to give him a hug and he hugs back. Julian looks at Daniel and nods. Daniel sits in the chair in front of Julians desk and puts his feet up. He puts his hands behind his head and closes his eyes. Julian slaps his feet down almost immediately. Daniel sits up and crosses his arms. He looks like a little kid.

" I still don't like you." Julian grunts and turns his attention back on me. He holds his arms out to Noah and I hesitate for a second.

" I'm just gonna examine him. How did the birth go?" I shiver remembering what I had to do.

" I had to give myself a c-section like you predicted. Fucking sucked. You think you would've given me something to help. I had to use a piece of glass and my hands and that was really it."

He winced at hearing about it. Daniel leans up quickly and grabs me. He pulls my shirt up and looks at the scar. He gasps and runs his fingers over it. I shiver and slap his hand down.

" YOU HAD TO WHAT?! AND JULAIN YOU PREDICTED SHE WOULD HAVE TO AND YOU LET HER LEAVE WITHOUT ANYTHING TO HELP?! WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR ARE YOU ASSHOLE!?"

Julian finished taking Noah's vitals and pulls out a syringe. I speed over to Noah and have him grab on my finger. Daniel races over next to me and holds the other finger. Daniel looks up at Julian waiting for a response. Julian sighs. He pushes the needle into the baby and the baby immediately starts crying.

" Listen Daniel, I know it doesn't seem like it but what she went through was best case scenario. It could have gone very very very worse. There are no doctors that know about wolves. At least there aren't very many. On top of that they won't help people like us  out because we're the most dangerous. Would you help the Queen of a ruthless pack deliver her baby who might also end up ruthless?" Daniel looks at him wide eyed. He punched Julian in the arm and I chuckle.

" You didn't answer my question asshole."

" Yes I did. And stop hitting me and calling me an asshole before I take out my horse tranquilizer." I start laughing and the both of them look at me.

" you guys fight like a married couple." I look at them and coo. I'm glad things are almost back to normal with these two. It would hurt a lot to see them genuinely hate each other. Daniel will always love Julian and I know that. Julian would never admit it but I know he feels the same.

" Speaking of married, when are you two getting married. I feel like you've been engaged forever." I squint my eyes at him and hit him in the shoulder. What an idiot.

" I was gone for the first two years of the engagement asswipe." He sighs and rubs his shoulder. It was Daniels turn to laugh and I grunt. Julian pulls out another syringe and takes some of Noah's blood. I pick Noah up and shush him as he cries.

He walks it over and holds it up to the light. He points up and we walk over. Most of it is red but sure enough there is a hint of gold in there. I was really hoping that wouldn't be the case. I sigh and I sway Noah and he starts to stop crying.

" I'll leave the wedding  arrangements to the girls and the guys. I have no interest in the actual wedding part but I don't mind being someone's wife." Daniel scoffs.

" You say that but as soon as you see me in the tux you're gonna want me to where it in bed." He growls at me. I blush and Julian points to the door.

" Go fuck somewhere else."

We walk out and are met with basically everyone living in the house except for Jonah.

" You guys really mean it!? You'll let us arrange it." Now that I'm thinking about it and if front of all their stupid faces, I'm second guessing myself. I sigh and rub my temples.

" Hell no."

Before I knew it I ended up in a dress fitting in our bedroom.

" I don't have time for this."

This was more of a random chapter while I figure out what to do next. I'm really sorry it's not that eventful. I'll try again tomorrow.
