What's Going on?

Daniel POV

As soon as we arrived, she fell asleep on the bed. I'm not as alarmed as I was last time when she didn't wake up within a day. I am quite bored without her. Luckily, Julian and I anticipated this and I decided not to make plans for us until a few days into the trip. We can't really be seen by ourselves out here because questions will start to pop up about that photo I posted and why we're even here. 

I keep wondering what we're going to do now. We haven't had any time to just be regular leaders since she came. I don't remember what it's like to lead a calm pack. As much as I hated the chaos, It was eventful and I was never bored like I used to be. I get kind sad thinking about how boring our lives will be now. Taliyah's siblings will probably go back to their respected countries now that they aren't needed as much. I also find myself thinking if that included her. 

Does she have to go with them? She's not just the leader of the pack. She's the leader of the world quite literally.  I'm scared she's gonna have to leave me. It's not like I can go with her because I also lead. I really shouldn't be thinking about this but she's asleep. I don't have anything to distract me from my thoughts. 

I hear my phone ring from across the bedroom and I run over quickly to make sure I don't disturb her. I look at the phone and see Julian's name and I swipe immediately. 

" Hey Daniel. How's she doing?"

" She's still not awake. Do you know when she's supposed to wake up?" He thought for a minute and then answered. 

" Uh yea she should be on the verge of waking up actually. I would suggest you open the cooler that I put on the plane and give her a few cups of blood. She's gonna really need it. Water won't help this time since her heat is getting stronger." I nod my head and hang up the phone. I walk over to the cooler that's lying in the snow and take out some packets. I pour them into cups and bring them over. I sit at her side of the bed as I put them down on the nightstand. I push her hair out her face and lean in for a kiss. I feel a hand stop me and I open my eyes. 

" I hope you don't expect to get any pussy Daniel." She leans up quickly and grabs the blood off the nightstand. I watch as she gulps them down quickly. She leans back on the bed and stretches big. I jump on the bed and tackle her.  I kiss all over her face and down her body. She pushes me off quickly. 

" I just woke up from a two day nap. Are you sure you want to go through that again?" She smirks and as much as I want to I groan and walk away. 

We walk into the back where the pool is and sit on the side, dipping our feet in. She leans back and sighs as she looks at the clouds.

" So today we're gonna go hiking aka running. There shouldn't be anyone there because it's gloomy out. That's why I picked today to do it. " She nodded her head excitedly and ran inside. Taliyah and I haven't been able to have a day to ourselves where we just run. I miss the beginning where we didn't have anything to worry about and we were just in love. The past three years has been a lot but it's all come to this and I can't wait to see our future together.

I walk in after her and start packing a tiny bag that will have extra clothes in it because even though it is only supposed to be a day. There is a guarantee that we will be there way longer. I don't think she's ever run on a mountain before so I can't wait to see how excited she gets when she sees it. 

We walk out hand in hand with our bags and walk out to our car waiting for us. We get in and I decide to drive slowly so we can take in the scenery around us. I look over at her to see her smiling out of the window. I chuckle as I see her bite her lip in anticipation. I pull up in the parking lot, making sure no one else is around and she hops out as well.
