"Wait can u explain this to me again. I'm having trouble understanding."

He huffs and sits down next to me. My cheek is healed. My cheek healed very fast but that's because I'm a wolf. What my blood did to Daniel is different. So is the fact that my blood was GOLD!!

" Before you were even born, and your mates grandparents were Alpha and Luna, there was a war. A war between griffins and wolves." The doctor explained slowly. I nodded my head to show that I understood that part.

" We had a war because out of all supernatural beings, wolves are the most powerful and griffins did not like that at all." Ok we're the most powerful got it.

" we made them very weak. Near the end of the war, we only had a few injured people. But griffins, they were almost near extinction. So we made a piece treat. They surrendered and promised to never bother the Blood Hound/ Crescent or any Wolf pack ever again. We haven't seen them in decades. Not one of them has the balls to even come near wolf territory."

I nodded but I'm still confused. If they vowed to never come in contact with wolves ever again, they why did one just attack my mate and I?

" Taliyah this is the bad part." I looked at him and he smiled sadly.

" You have a special asset to you body that makes you very special. Your blood is gold."

" yea well I figured that out."

He rolled his eyes.

" the problem is, only wolves have that power. It can benefit every single supernatural being you can think of. So we have kept them in hiding. It is necessary that no wolf with this power should be let out into the world. Any being will kill to have what you have. This situation is worse for you because you're Luna. Every supernatural being watches the Alpha and Luna in each pack. There is no way to hide you."

I nod my head slowly.

" Well can you tell me how my blood benefits each being?" He shook his head no.

" I can't. But I know someone who can. She's a little weird but she can give you answers."

Daniel curses under his breath along with the other boys.
" That fucking witch doesn't stop touching me. Do we really need her?"

The doctor nodded and Daniel threw his head back and let out a groan. He can't do that anymore cause god damnit I'm gonna be in heat until I'm pregnant. #lunaproblems am I right?

" Well Daniel you have a mate now so she should get the clue to back the fuck up." Cami spoke up.

Gold blood? When I thought my life couldn't get any worse. I'm literally a danger to my own pack. I'm the goddess of freaking death. I swear my life can not compare to anyone's. I don't care what monsters abused you. Try taking over a pack while having the power to shatter someone's skeleton just by looking at them.

" Luna are you listening?" I nod my head and sigh. I bite my lip. Maybe I should leave again. I don't know I'm having second thoughts about this whole Luna, gold blood crap. And I love Daniel but I think we're on square one again. Where I didn't even wanna look at his face.

" Taliyah! Pay attention!" I stand up and walk out of the room. This is all too much for me. I need to go in a run." I shift quickly and run into the woods. The lake sounds like a good spot to chill. About a mile before I hit the lake I'll sniff around for danger. I hope no one followed me from the clinic. I just want to be alone. I run faster and faster getting farther and farther from where I'm supposed to be. Oh man my life is really fucked up. I don't know where I'm at right now with life. Should I even be here? Am I even responsible to run a pack? Hell I don't even know if I should have a mate. Im not gonna reject him maybe I'll just keep my distance which will be really hard cause, sis have you seen Daniel James Seavey?
