Daniel POV

It's been a few months since the fever hit. I've decided to start doing this I haven't been able to do before. Jonah is taking care of all pack responsibility so I'm pretty much bored. I can barely leave the bed to pee but when I can leave the bed I go do some thing that screams "too much time on my hands!" I love it.

I was hoping that I would be able to do this with a family of mine but I won't make it that far.

Zach POV
Daniel has been gardening. He looks so happy while doing it that I just can't tell him anything about what we're doing.
We decided not to tell Daniel about our plans to find Taliyah. Things have lightened up a bit but in terms of information, we're at a dead end. I don't understand how a person can hide so well. We have people in all corners of the world. Every state has people in it looking for her. It's one big game and we're trying to pick out what place she'll pop up so we can be prepared.

We have one chance to do this and if we mess up the first time, she's gone for good. She won't make the same mistake again.

" The only  information Julian gave us was that he didn't tell her where to go. So I'm assuming she had to leave for whatever reason and Julian asked her not to tell him. Smart guy, loyal, but an asshole" Jack sighs and sits back in the couch. I sit down on the couch next to Jack and start racking my brain.

This can't be this hard. There's no way she can be this good. There has to be a mistake in here somewhere. She's only been using cash or has been using and alias to get by. There has to be a mistake.

" Quick. Nyah, look up hospitals in New Jersey with the last name Seavey."

Jack slaps my head and I groan.

" Idiot. Daniel hasn't gone to any hospitals anywhere. We can't." It was my turn to slap his head. I wait for him to get it and he gasps and hugs me.

Everyone looks confused.

" If Taliyah went to Julian it was clearly a medical issue. Taliyah doesn't have people loyal to her. Everyone we know is loyal to Daniel and would tell him immediately if she was seen. She would've had no choice but to go to a hospital and threaten a doctor not to say anything." We listen to the clacking on the key board in silence until Cole turns back to me again.

" But why New Jersey? That makes no sense and it's random." I smirk.

" She can't stay away from her roots. Just like Daniel. Daniel wouldn't rather be anywhere than here while he's dying. If Taliyah is the same way, she's in New Jersey no doubt."

We hear a ding on the keyboard and gasp.

" Bingo."

We decided to not tell Daniel that we're going to check a lead on where Taliyah is. He would beg to come and would probably die on the way over here. It would ruin the purpose of even coming here. We walk into the hospital she was in.

" Hi can we speak to Doctor Patel? We just have some questions to ask him nothing bad." We hold up the badges Nyah generated. Girl is a damn tech wiz. I'll buy her all the computers in the world.

The lady points to a room across from us and we thank her. We knock on the door and walk in. We once again hold up the badges.

" Hey man. We just have some questions to ask about a suspect in an investigation." He widened his eyes.

" What does the Bureau need with me?" I hold up the picture of Taliyah and he sighs. She doesn't look too different from the last time we saw her. The only difference is that she changed her hair color to have a red tint in it. 

" She told me you guys would come for her. She told me she slipped up and I had no clue what she meant. What she did tell me, was to not tell you anything." I growl at him  and he growls back.

" Well Doc..... this woman.... is the leader of the blood hound packs mate. She left us very suddenly with no explanation what's so ever. I have no intention of getting violent with you but if I have to I will. I will not sit here and let my Alpha die because you decided to listen to someone you barely know." He chuckles at my statement and I clench my fist.

" I'm sorry Alpha." I lift him up by the throat with my power by the throat and wrap one of the computer cords around him neck. Corbyn sighs and takes out the breach device Cisco gave us. I put Taliyah's picture on the floor and we leave.

" You wanna tell me why you did that."

" Wouldn't it be weird if a successful doctor was found hanging, barely alive, with a picture of a famous person on the ground? The feds will be all over this and we'll have her info in a matter of days. Don't worry about it. At least I didn't kill him."

The nod and we walk out back to see Daniel on his knees, nodding his head to music while planting tomato seeds in the ground.

" The whole back yard might as well be a fucking farmers market." Jonah days with a sigh.

I chuckle and we walk over to Daniel offering out help.

Don't worry buddy. We've got her.
