Punishment and Heat

Previously.......

" As for you Alpha Jeffery, you are to be executed for your terrifying crimes to Adam Seavey."

The crowd shrieks and mumbling emerges through the crowd. Everyone's eyes widen at my serious face. Keri shrieks and Jeff falls back in his seat.

I snort and everyone's face whips towards me.

" Im just kidding guys. I wouldn't do that to Keri." She thanks me a few times and grabs Jeff's hand who seems relieved. I hold my finger up and everyone calms down again.

" I am letting you off of execution but Jeffery Seavey  you will be punished for your crimes. You will be taken down to the holding cells by the guards-" I wave them over and walk over. " and you will stay their until we figure out what your punishment will be." They remove  him from his seat and he walks with shackles as his wife follows him.

After he leaves the room, I sit down as Daniel starts talking.

" Now, I feel like you guys should know more about what it going on between this group and what your Luna is." I play with my belt nervously. I don't know how people will react. Word travels fast around here and we don't know exactly everyone in our pack. Someone can easily be a griffin In here and try to kill me within a split second. We don't know who to trust as of right now.

I stand up and start speaking.

" My name is Taliyah. I don't really want to be addressed as Luna. That's still a little weird to me. But I am not exactly your typical Luna. I am very different. Almost the exact opposite of what a Luna should be." I smile sadly.

" I am a hybrid."

The crowd shrieks and some stand. Some look angry and are screaming negative things towards me. I soak it all in with my eyes closed. I knew they wouldn't be happy. I open my eyes which are bright silver. Adam shakes his head at the crowd.

" now I know most of you don't think I should be running this pack and that's fine. If you really feel that way, leave." I shrug my shoulders. The crowd remains standing but quiet.

" I'm not joking. You don't like what I am then leave. If you want to leave a pack that has a Luna that can single handily kick a griffins ass with a whole other shitload of things clouding her mind, that's fine. Just know you are leaving a safe pack that tries to protect you people at all cost." Daniel stands beside me and rubs my back. No, I'm not mad. Or angry.

" It's honestly really sad that most of you reacted that way too because someone lost his love because of what she was and we literally just went over it. If we had never done anything, you people would have been under the power of a man who kills people for who they are and I find that disgusting and disappointing." They bow their heads respectfully and I smile.

" Another issue that should be addressed is one of the top reasons we called this pack meeting. Griffins are after me and all of you in search of something. They want my blood. It's a little maybe a tiny bit all gold?" I closed my eyes and waiting for the crowds reaction. It was completely silent in here at first but then all hell broke loose. Some of we're crying, some were standing in shock and others were just full on loosing their shit.

I hear Daniel growl behind me lowly. He takes a step forward and I can basically see his muscles popping out of his shirt. I run in front of him to stop whatever is about to happen to this crowd.

" Baby. Look at my eyes. Forget what they're doing, I can fix that. You need to calm down before something really bad happens. Ok?" He looks down into my eyes and stares at them for a while. He scoffs, which I can admit hurts a little, but quietly walks back to his seat.
