Leo stumbled back, slamming his back into the door. The maid looked up and blinked in confusion. "Your face is pale." She noticed. Leo gulped and tried to breathe. He threw open the door and then shut it behind him.
Leo took a deep breathe. "You ok man?" Sag said nicely. Leo gulped and slowly nodded. Sag shrugged and walked off. "What did I just see?" Leo slid down and tried processing everything.
"Oh hello, funny meeting you again?" Scorpio said. Virgo turned around and gave a shy smile. "Hello." She cleared her throat. She checked the clock. "I have only an hour left." She sighed. "Oh? Leaving so soon?" Scorpio asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Unfortunately, I better find Leo." Virgo turned. "Oh no need for that I already took care of him." Scorpio stood straight. Virgo stared in shock. "YOU KILLED HIM?!" She pulled her half eaten sword out. "What? No! He is watching my sister." Scorpio glanced at the battered sword and laughed.
"Even if you tried to kill me you wouldn't get that far would you?" He smirked. Virgo couldn't decide if she liked his arrogance or not. "Is...Aquarius ok?" For some reason she felt like asking. "Oh? You suddenly care for her? How sweet!" Scorpio's red eyes glowed.
"What?! No! I just want to be the one to kill her..." Virgo made up a stupid excuse, she knew it wouldn't work on him. "Are you smart to say that in front of her brother?" He sighed. "I have light!" A small ball of light appeared in her hands. Scorpio didn't flinch.
"Ouch." He said shortly. "It doesn't hurt?" Virgo put it away. "No it does." He assured. "Just not that much." He clarified. "Oh..." Virgo looked at the ground. "Oh and to answer your question, Aquarius is fine. She has been through....worse." He seemed to choose that word carefully.
Virgo was suspicious but she didn't push, not yet.
Leo took another deep breath and stood up to re-enter the room. The maid was gone and Aquarius was in a black tank top and shorts. He felt tense. Aquarius stirred and slowly fluttered her eyes open. "Oh...where am I?" It was a stupid question, she knew exactly where she was.
She turned her head and caught sight of Leo. Her eyes shot wide open as she sat up and pressed her back against the wall. "What the hell?" She gasped. "Don't worry, I didn't do anything, the maid was the one that undressed you." He assured her. Aquarius seemed to relax and then she tensed up again at the thought.
"How much did you see?" Aquarius asked. "How much did you want me to see?" Leo tried to lighten the situation. "Not the time." Aquarius said calmly. "Your b-back." He stuttered. Aquarius made a small noise. "God damn." She tried to think of a way to fix this.
"Can I please see it again?" Leo asked. "No!" Aquarius hugged herself. "I-I need to confirm it." He said. "That's a stupid excuse." Aquarius huffed. "Does it matter? I already saw them." He argued. "If you already saw them then why do you have to see them again?" Aquarius fought.
"Let me see them!" Leo was getting frustrated. "NO!" Aquarius yelled. "I'll tell your brother." He threatened. "You wouldn't." She said in a low voice. "Ah so he doesn't know?" Leo concluded. "Then show me." He asked again. "Hell no!" Aquarius was being stubborn again.
Leo stood up and walked to the door and put a hand on the knob. "No..." She was losing her confidence. He turned it. "Ok wait!" She gave in. "I win!" He said happily. Aquarius glared at him. He plopped next to her on the bed and waited.
She hesitated but she turned so that her back was facing him. He examined them. The shriveled black feathers stuck together, not getting freedom in a long time. "T-they started growing last week, since then I haven't worn anything revealing." She told him.
"So this isn't there full size? Good god, you won't be able to hide them once they grow fully!" He said. Aquarius couldn't bare the thought of being a demon with angel wings. The sleek black feathers were in need of some air because they were sadly drooping downward but the more time she let them free the more they puffed up.
"Two black wings...how?" Leo reached out and gently touched them. Aquarius flinched at the unfamiliar touch but answered. "I-I don't know..." She admitted. "Scorpio told me something happened to me as a child but he never said anything!" Aquarius bit her tongue, frustrated.
Leo couldn't help but imagine the wings at their full length, she would be stunning, looking sleek and voluminous, his own wings would be hilariously small compared to hers. Aquarius pulled away and grabbed her armor.
Leo held her up as she was limping to gather the pieces. She put the chest piece on, again locking the blackened feathers into darkness then the rest of her body. She got everything on just in time before somebody knocked on the door, actually no, pounded on the door.
"Come in!" She said in her best happy voice. Virgo and Scorpio walked in. "We have to go Leo, we have 30 minutes." She checked the clock again. Leo looked at Aquarius and gave a sad look.
"I shall escort you." Scorpio looked at them. "I don't want to be the cause of your deaths." He smiled. "I'll come back." Leo whispered gently to her. Aquarius kept a straight face. Scorpio snapped his fingers and poof, they were right in front of the stairs.
"See you soon darling." He bowed. Virgo couldn't help but smile. They both began their ascent. "What happened between you and mister demon king?" Leo nudged her with his elbow. "Oh nothing." Virgo swatted his arm away.
"You and Aquarius seem to be getting close." Virgo said. "Oh yes, much closer." The way he said it made it sound wrong but Virgo ignored it. She paused. "I forgot, we have to deal with Taurus, he was bound to notice us missing and on top of that we have cuts and bruises and smell like Hell!"
Leo gulped at the thought. "We are screwed.....AGAIN!" He yelled.
